Story
Pax came to us from a multiple-dog family, so he is good with other dogs. He's also great with the children in his foster home. He's looking for a forever home . . . how about yours? He is food motivated and an enthusiastic student when training. He rides comfortably in a car, is house trained, crate trained and leash trained. He has been surrounded by a loving foster family but his public exposure has been limited. Obedience classes would be great once he's comfortable in a new environment. They would reinforce the training he's had, and would widen his world, showing him unknown humans are a source of positive attention and rewards. Story
Hi there, I'm Max. My age has given me wisdom and a love for the simple things in life. I'm a sweet, friendly soul, always curious about the world around me. I can be a bit goofy at times, but that's part of my charm. I'm smart too, always eager to learn new things. Cuddles? Oh, I'm a big fan! I'm just a sweet and happy medium energy guy!I've never met a cat before, so the people here aren't sure how I would do with them, and I prefer to be the only dog in the house. I've never been around kids either, but I'm such a friendly guy, so I would probably be ok with dog savvy children. Walking me might be a workout, I do love to pull on the leash. Apartments aren't really my style, I could run into another dog in those narrow hallways and I'd really rather not do that. I need space to roam and sniff. I am a Special Paws pet in the Signature Pets Program because I have allergies that will likely require some extra care to keep under control and managed. Since I am a Special Paws pet, my adoption fee is up to you!Adopt me, and I promise to fill your life with laughter, love, and endless curiosity.

Story
Hello, my name is North!!!! I am a super fun, excitable, and energetic lady looking for a fun, excitable, and energetic adopter!! I am the life of the party, and I love to meet new people, see new sights, and have tons and tons of fun in life!! I am a big gal for sure, and boy oh boy, am I STRONG! I will really need someone who can physically handle a strong girl like me, because I might be the one to take YOU for a walk, instead of the other way around. But I am super duper food motivated and work very well for treats, and with patience. I'm not a huge fan of kitty cats, so a home without them would be best. I like other doggos but I might come on a bit strong, so one that won't be deterred by this would be best. I am super loving and sweet, and while I do need work on not jumping up or launching my excited body onto you for attention, I do listen quite well especially if you ask me to sit. I am so excited to find my new human and new home!!North is part of the Signature Pets program as a Special Paws pet. North is likely to have a chronic skin allergy that will require their new family to provide medication on a regular basis. This means that her adoption fee is up to you!

Story
How can you resist a cute pup with big brown eyes and pouty lips? You simply must meet Cloe! Cloe is a very goofy girl who loves to play all day! She is also a snuggly pup who loves to sprawl out and get belly rubs! Cloe is still a young girl, so it is important that introductions to new people, places, and animals is done slowly and allows her to have a positive experience. Having fun times with new things can help her grow into a well-rounded adult! Cloe is ready to be a part of your family!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Cyrus had parvo at a shelter and was scheduled to be euthanized as there was no room to isolate him. A foster was able to take him home and provide the medical care he needed. Now he has recovered completely and is ready to find his forever home. He is a burst of energy and constantly wants to play. He gets along well with the foster's dogs. He would not do well with cats. He needs an owner that is just as energetic and has time to take him places to burn off all that extra energy. He is still cautious with strangers but warms up  quickly. He does dig under the fence so he needs a highly  enforced yard or someone who can take him out on a leash. He loves to play with toys and will run around the yard with them. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
