Story
Hey there! I'm Tamari, your soon-to-be partner in crime for all things fun and adventurous! I have lots of energy and can't wait to dive into life's exciting moments with you as my sidekick. My biggest loves? Well, it goes a little something like this: tennis balls, people, tennis balls, people... you get the picture! I'm all about that fetch life - seriously, throw a ball my way, and I'm in doggy heaven. My previous digs were a bit on the sheltered side, but hey, exploring the big wide world with my new family sounds like a blast to me!Now, here's the scoop: I'm not exactly a social butterfly when it comes to other furry pals. Nope, I'm all about bonding with my human and having a blast together, no canine companions or feline friends necessary. Don't worry, though - we'll have plenty of fun-filled adventures to keep us busy!Thinking about signing up for Family Dog 1 classes? Count me in! Plus, adopters get a sweet discount on their first class at Marin Humane. It's not just about training; it's about strengthening our bond and having fun together. So, what's on my ultimate wish list, you ask? Well, it starts with you, a ball (of course), some epic fetch sessions in the yard, and then snuggling up with my favorite human on the couch. Sound like a plan? Let's make it happen!Oh, and guess what? Someone who loves me already paid my adoption fee!***ADOPTION FEE PAID*** Primary Color: White Weight: 59.2 Age: 3yrs 2mths 2wks

Story
Young, high energy Jaimie was found stray in Novato. Jaimie is a smart, curious, resourceful party girl looking for some structure in her life. She doesn't know that she's looking for structure, but she is. She loves training exercises and playing with a variety of toys. You will be able to use her interest in treats, training and exhaustive exercise to train her and refocus her attention when she gets a little too amped over seeing new people and dogs. Jaimie has a keen mind, so you'll want to engage that with things like food puzzles and games. And don't forget Family Dog 1 - that will give you both a great bonding experience and a strong foundation for obedience.Jaimie was very interested in all the dogs she met here; sometimes a little too interested. She's super eager to the point of being a little rude depending on the other dog's point of view. If the other dog is like minded a beautiful friendship could ensue. She reads other dogs' social signals, so that's a big plus. Find Jaimie a good playmate and you'll have one more great way to engage her genius.Come meet Jaimie and get ready to party! ***ADOPTION FEE PAID*** Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 41.4 Age: 0yrs 7mths 3wks

She was able to spend time in a local foster home with two other dogs, a cat and a teenager. It was there Luna was able to show more of her true self. Luna will play with dogs in the typical bully breed style; lots of physical bumping and chasing. She will retrieve toys/balls and will engage in training games. On walks she is eager to walk and sniff. Simple techniques to reduce pulling were effective and Luna demonstrated a nice balance; she was observant, but steady and nonplused by the normal sights and sounds of everyday life.   Where Luna will need continued guidance is in building her comfort at being separated from the group whether that be dogs or people. It is notable that in the days she was in foster, she made good strides in this skill. She was sleeping through the night in a crate, spending time behind a baby gate and waiting inside the vehicle. She never once barked. Given time and the support of a caring and patient family, Luna is sure to continue to gain in confidence.   If you have a dog that you think would enjoy having a playmate to wrestle around the yard with, then Luna might just be the perfect fit. This young adult has the potential to move into a home and improve the quality of life of that family. Come and spend some time with Luna!  Adoption Center: (415) 506-6225 The Marin Humane Society 171 Bel Marin Keys Blvd., Novato, California 94949 Email: adoptions@marinhumanesociety.orgApril 21, 2024, 12:07 am

Story
Rolo loves playing with ropes, chasing, and fetching. He is incredibly affectionate, always wanting to snuggle. Rolo is house-trained and will alert you when he needs to go outside Rolo is great with kids and considers himself a lap dog, so he'll thrive with children comfortable around large dogs who enjoy laying and showering him with affection. Rolo loves blankets and will try to join you if you have a blanket and haven't offered him one Rolo is selective with other dog friends. While he can get along with them through a gradual introduction, he prefers a home without small dogs or cats Rolo is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. At 9 years old, he has no health conditions and the vet says he looks to live a long healthy life As a first-time mom with a full-time job, I'm unable to provide him the care he deserves due to my limited time. My heart is breaking, and I'm seeking a new, loving home where he can be happy and receive the care he deserves
