But if you take the extra time to get to know her, she will reward you ten times over. She’s still easily spooked by new things – we don’t think she had much exposure to much of anything in the past. So the sights and sounds (in particular) of the shelter are still a little intimidating. But once Cupcake gets a little comfortable, we can start to see glimpses of who she really is.
