Nice to meet you, my name is Teddy! I am a 1 year old, 70 lbs., neutered male Pitbull mix. I'm am energetic, playful young boy with a lot of spunk! I'm friendly and eager to please. I'm looking for a family that is going to play with me and is ready to work on my training and socialization. I love playing with toys and am an all around silly guy. If you are looking for one happy, wiggly new friend than I'm the boy for you!  I would do best in a home with older kids that have been around rambunctious boys like me. So I would love to meet the whole family including any resident dogs before going home. I come on strong so I would do best with dogs that can match my energy! Hi friends, my name is Chicken Nugget! I am a 1 year old, neutered Pitbull/mastiff mix that currently weighs about 60lbs. I'm still a young boy which means may continue growing for a bit longer. I am an energetic ball of fun and happiness. I love romping about and playing but can be a love bug when I feel like it. I'm still working on my manners and patience and would love help with that! My ideal home would be with a family that has kids that are 10+ and are familiar with big dogs with big personalities. I'd like to meet the whole family including any resident dogs before going home. If I sound like the dog for you, please submit your application today. Story
I'm a K9 Nose Work Graduate! Inspired by working detection dogs, I have learned to sniff out treats like a pro! Hi, my name is Duke! I'm a 1 year and 8 month old, 54 lbs, neutered male Pit Bull. I am an affectionate fellow that loves to cuddle and play. When I get excited I bounce around with joy- just call me Duke the Entertainer! I'm an energetic boy who is a typical bully breed-- I play hard, but when I'm done playing, I love nothing more than curling up with you for some good cuddles and binge watching. I'm still working on my manners but everyday I get a little bit better. I would adore going to classes with my new family so that I can become the best K-9 citizen out there. Please be sure to bring the entire household, including any resident dogs, to meet with me prior to adoption.  For more information, just ask Customer Service about Duke ID #A924436 If you are interested in meeting with me, please submit your fully completed Adoption Profile Form to adoptinquire@peninsulahumanesociety.org and an adoption counselor will call you to conduct a phone interview before making an appointment to meet in person. You must be 18 or older to submit an application. Story
Meet Lia, Instagram Diva in the Making... This stunning girl, approximately 2 years old, is a spayed 60 lb pittie/pointy eared blend. Lia is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and boasts a striking creamy-brindly coat, golden eyes and a radiant smile that is contagious! While Lia excelled with dogs in playgroups at the San José shelter, she's decided that "in the real world" she likes her kind from a distance, but not so much on leash close up, or in the home. PACC has learned that her easy-going and flexible nature is more reserved for her human friends. That said, Lia walks nicely on leash and generally cannot be bothered by passing dogs, big or small. Between us, she's got kind of a *diva* streak going on and is hoping her new human(s) will spend time helping to grow her Instagram following. It's not unreasonable given she pretty much cannot take a bad pic! Lia is a lover of strangers, and despite being an excellent deterrent at the door, truth be told, she's probably not going to protect your things, cause she can be instantly bought with treats and affection. She shows her love through enthusiastic tail whaps and one of the most wiggly butts we've come across. If you welcome her into your family, get ready for some tail-induced excitement and hold on to your drinks! PACC seeks an active household that appreciates large, strong, and lively dogs, particularly those who cherish company on the couch. If you prefer a dog-free furniture policy, Lia might not be the perfect fit, as she thrives when the entire family is on the couch, with her in the middle (where else would a diva sit?!) Kids in the home should be 10+ because little humans take a lot of time, dogs take time, and most families don't have time for both. Cats are not recommended. If Lia sounds like a good fit with your instagram ambitions, COPY AND PASTE THE LINK TO OUR APPLICATION BELOW INTO YOUR BROWSER - Adoptapet does not support live links: https://forms.gle/EFEHcajugPWz2wJdA
