Story
Grayson is a big, white hunk of love! He is the biggest love bug and cuddly boy you will ever meet. He is a licking machine and will try to give you kisses any chance he gets. And don’t be deceived by his size, all 63lbs of this affectionate boxer boy loves to cuddle and act like he’s small enough to be a lap dog. He will play ball, go for walks/hikes, jog with you, or play in the backyard. He’s also a chill boy in the house and will lay in his bed or cuddle with you in yours. He can be active outside and mellow inside, best of both worlds! He loves going on outings and gets excited to go for car rides. Grayson is the ultimate adventure buddy and is always up for anything! Grayson does get a little anxious when left alone and would prefer someone who can hangout with him most of the day and take him on fun adventures! He is very food motivated so you cannot leave him unattended in a room with food or he will find it (and eat it lol)! Grayson loves all people, including kids, and would be a great addition to any family. He can be jumpy when he gets excited, so dog savvy children would be better for him. Grayson does get along with some dogs but can be reactive with others. He is mostly reactive when on the leash but if out in a yard he is very playful and friendly with dogs. We have found that he is great with small dogs male or female! He is a very good playmate and friend to the resident small female dog that lives with him. He can be selective when it comes to bigger male dogs. Overall, Grayson could thrive in a home without other dogs, with small dogs, or with dogs who are submissive. If you think Grayson could be a good fit for you, please apply online to meet him. He is awaiting his forever home that will embrace his loving, goofy self!

Story
Energetic, loving, and goofy 9-year-old Ella is super sweet but needs a family with an experienced dog owner. A little under 2ft tall and 40 lbs, she's sleek and muscular. Ella is fully house-trained and very patient with the three cats she lives with. She's never lived with kids but is generally chill with the children in the neighborhood.
She loves her toys, playing fetch, tug of war games, following you around the house, and of course, napping. Ella wants to be involved in whatever you're doing and is alert to someone coming to the door. She is highly food motivated, Ella picks up new tricks quickly but can be stubborn and easily distracted, so she needs lots of consistent positive reinforcement to maintain behavioral changes. She has many opinions and she will let you know about them.
Ella also plays well with other dogs, although sometimes she has issues with dogs larger than she is, but is good at de-escalating potential conflicts. Ella really loves company so if her new people are gone for a full work day she will need a canine companion. She's leash trained and always excited to jump in the car to visit the park. Ella is a great dog looking for a home where she is loved and cherished. Would you be the one for her?" Ella is now being fostered in Oakland, CA and her adoption fee is $275.00 Arrangements to meet our dogs occur after an application has been received. Please contact us at dogzonerescue@yahoo.com for more information about this great gal or for an application to adopt.

Story
Meet me at the mobile adoption event on Saturday, February 28th at Woodlands Pet Food & Treats Novato from 12-3pm (unless adopted before 3pm). An onsite sign-in sheet will open one hour before the event.Dottie is a sweet 4.5 month old pit mix looking for her forever home. Dottie is a sensitive little girl and will need a calm family committed to building her confidence. In her foster home, she is a major goofball and snuggle bug. She adores the resident dogs and would love to have a playful dog sibling of her own. She is learning leash skills and does fine on quiet, low traffic streets, especially when paired with another confident dog. Busy streets with loud traffic are still a challenge for this cautious pup. Dottie's favorite thing to do is to sit in a lap. Her second favorite is to play fetch. Sometimes she even shows off by bringing back two toys at the same time. Dottie is medium energy and after some playtime or nosework games, she settles into her bed and can quietly be on her own. Dottie will do best in a home with no small children. She might need a little extra reassurance, but Dottie's sweet spirit and silly antics are well worth it. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Brown Brindle Weight: 33 Age: 0yrs 5mths 0wks

Story
Meet Sir Theodore James III, or Theo for short. He was found roaming the streets of San Rafael. Sadly no one came looking for him. We quickly found out how sweet he was but also realized that being in a shelter was stressful for him. So off to a foster home where it was quieter and more relaxing. Here's what the foster told us about him:Meet Theo, a lovable low-rider who believes life is best lived right next to his people and and a fur friend. He just wants to be next to, someone. He's the best boy holding down the fort while I'm at work too. He's low-key and easygoing, loves toys and basking in the sun. He enjoys leisurely walks sniffing, which can offer the simulation he needs without those long walks. Because of his build, he's more of a stroll-around-the-block kinda guy rather than a hiking buddy. Keeping him trim and getting exercise is critical to help his build and mobility. His weight loss journey has been a big deal for him. He would get very excited at meal time so we been practicing "Wait" before he gets fed. Theo played well with my dog and respected her wishes. Theo can over excite once he gets the thumbs up to play so have him take breaks. He's been a quick learner when it comes to teaching commands. But all he really wants is a cozy spot beside someone who'll love him as much as he'll love them.If you want a cuddle buddy at bed time Theo is the one! He has a cute way of putting his face on you and then the rest of him melts into you. And that tongue?! Come on with the cuteness?! ***ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED*** Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 50.8 Age: 2yrs 2mths 1wks
