Story
Young, high energy Jaimie was found stray in Novato. Jaimie is a smart, curious, resourceful party girl looking for some structure in her life. She doesn't know that she's looking for structure, but she is. She loves training exercises and playing with a variety of toys. You will be able to use her interest in treats, training and exhaustive exercise to train her and refocus her attention when she gets a little too amped over seeing new people and dogs. Jaimie has a keen mind, so you'll want to engage that with things like food puzzles and games. And don't forget Family Dog 1 - that will give you both a great bonding experience and a strong foundation for obedience.Jaimie was very interested in all the dogs she met here; sometimes a little too interested. She's super eager to the point of being a little rude depending on the other dog's point of view. If the other dog is like minded a beautiful friendship could ensue. She reads other dogs' social signals, so that's a big plus. Find Jaimie a good playmate and you'll have one more great way to engage her genius.Come meet Jaimie and get ready to party! ***ADOPTION FEE PAID*** Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 55.4 Age: 0yrs 10mths 3wks

Story
Meet me at the mobile adoption event on Saturday, July 6th at Woodlands Pet Store Mill Valley from 12-3pm (unless adopted before 3pm). An onsite sign-in sheet will open one hour before the event.(I'm being fostered in the East Bay)Hi! My name is King. I'm a very handsome boy looking for a new home! I came to Marine Humane because my first family could no longer keep me due to a housing situation.I am 7 years old, and a good deal trained. I know how to sit, stay, lie down, and shake. Even though I love to eat, I do not hoard food. I will sit patiently while you prepare my food and my foster brother and I eat close to each other. I am crate trained and will let you know with gentle whines when I need to go potty.I have only had one family since I was a pup. My first family were of the older human age and could only take me on walks, but no parks. I did meet other dogs during walks, but it was only nose-to-nose, no play time. Because I have had little interaction with other dogs I am still learning how to socialize. My foster brother is showing me how to respect dog boundaries. I still do not totally understand boundaries and that can be rough on other animals that like their space or are smaller than me. My foster father has to gently introduce me to new foods but once I know it is food I will eat anything. I recently discovered peanut butter and I am still learning how to get treats from a kong toy. Right now, everything seems new to me, and I get very excited. But once I get familiar, I like to just lie down and relax.Because a lot of things are still new, I don't always know how to react. I get very excited and this can be difficult for some. I know I look big and can be too rough sometimes, but I just want to show love. I know with patience and care I will be the best dog for you. Story
Meet Nala, a sweet and loyal adult dog who is currently residing in a shelter. Her affectionate nature and steadfast loyalty make her an ideal companion for anyone seeking a loving pet. She loves people and adored a dog-savvy 8-year-old boy, so we think she would love to be in a home with dog-savvy kids. Nala does not want to be left alone in a yard and will make her displeasure known by barking. Her new family should not leave her in the yard, they should teach her to be OK inside the house when they leave. Despite her current circumstances, Nala's spirit remains unbroken, and she eagerly awaits the day she can share her love with a forever family. Adopting Nala means gaining a faithful friend who will provide unconditional love and companionship. Primary Color: Red Secondary Color: White Weight: 48.8 Age: 3yrs 1mths 1wks
