My name is Ophelia. I was saved from the shelter and am now in a foster home while I wait for a family of my very own. I am very easy going and friendly. I walk nicely on leash too. I get along well with other dogs, in fact, I'm being fostered with my friend Zeus who I came into the shelter with. We can be adopted together or seperately, but we do like each other and keep each other company. Here's what my foster mommy says about me. * She loves her chest rubbed and smiles when you do it. I've also been brushing her and her eyes sort of roll in pure bliss. * Retreats at the sound of loud noises or voices. * She checks in by looking up during walks all the time, and gives a judgy look if you don't clean up her poop. (I've forgotten to grab the roll of bags a few times before walks and she's been disappointed in me.) * She has dreams of running in open fields chasing rabbits, I think? Definitely a snorer and active sleeper! * In the mornings, she'll be your coffee. Her tail wags so hard, I'm afraid she might break it! Then, her head in your hand/lap is an immediate weighs workout as you're putting on outside shoes. * She's definitely not a dog for someone who'd want to run miles every day. She's an incredible foot/thigh/lap warmer! * Her mouth is very gentle when taking treats. Her eyes just look like hearts when you do give any to her. My name is Zeus and I am 4 years old. I was saved from the shelter and am now in a foster home while I wait for a forever family of my very own. I am easy going and friendly and I walk nicely on leash. I get along well with other dogs, in fact, I'm being fostered with my friend Ophelia who I came into the shelter with. We can be adopted together or seperately, but we do like each other and keep each other company. We were not well taken care of. I had bad skin and was pretty thin and she was pretty beat up too. Fast forward to today. Here's what my foster mommy says about me. * Doesn't care about loud noises, not scared. * He is very good about NOT begging (or sitting nearby suggestively drooling/bubble blowing) for human food while you're eating. * Treat and food are a huge driver. He inhales food, but isn't food aggressive. He will, however, be happy to vacuum your floor for any suggestion of crumbs of any sort. * Not a great guard dog, in that he doesn't bark when someone rings the doorbell or knocks on the door. (Maybe a good thing?) * He'll be your unofficial alarm clock in the morning. He'll start click-clocking then suggestively start breathing louder so you hear him. * He has a bit more energy than Ophelia, but he's very observant and cognizant of her and will adjust his speed for her. I love treats and have lots of human friends who I like spending time with. I'm currently in a boarding and unfortunately it is closing at the end of the month, so I really need a foster or adopter ASAP. Here's what the lady that takes care of me in boarding says about me: "He likes to bark, but he's really just saying hello and if you give him a treat he'll finish it as fast as possible so he can get some loving. He could probably just trail behind someone for hours just because he likes to be near the people he loves. He's great at listening to commands (if you have something to give him for it lol) and he loves receiving kisses. He loves to play. He starts to do a little nibble thing if he gets really happy and excited, but he'll stop if you tell him to. Once he warms up to you he's the best!"
