Roberta is around 1 to 2 years old. She has some puppy energy left and a cute wiggly butt. Roberta is very sweet and wants to be loved on all the time. She loves being close to her humans. Roberta has been working on her leash walking skills, as well as learning not to jump on others. Roberta knows sit, down, and paw. Roberta also loves to chew, but nothing that is not already hers. Hugh is friendly and thrives when he is out in public areas. He doesn't pay attention to other animals or kids and loves when kids and adults comes up and pet him. He is strong, but easy to walk with a prong collar and after initial excitement, his walk turns into a stroll. His favorite thing in the world is balls! Hugh gets a lot of compliments when he is out because he is so handsome! He loves his balls so much and doesn't like to drop them! You have to lure him with something else for him to let it go. He loves sitting on tables outside. It's pretty funny! He is serious about his food so feedings are separate from other animals. There is no issue putting his food down or taking treats. Buttercup has unfortunately found herself back with us. To no fault of her own! Buttercup was adopted from us a while back. She was a young, energetic and very social girl her first time being with us. She originally tested well with dogs and loved everyone she met! Unfortunately she found herself in a very unfortunate situation. To no fault of her previous owner, She got attacked by another dog and got the worst of it. Her physical wounds are healing well, but her trust in other dogs was destroyed. Her owner tried everything they could to keep her and keep her safe, but due to unchangeable circumstances she was living in a very unsafe situation for her. Her owner made the decision to bring her back to us in hopes that we can find her a better situation so she can thrive again! Buttercup is still a very sweet and energetic girl but now she’s got some trust issues when it comes to dogs. She’s great with people, but will need a home with no other dogs or an experienced foster who can keep her separated from other dogs. We’re hoping we can find her a rescue who can provide her with the security she needs! After some TLC from our staff she has quickly gained her weight back and is almost 40 pounds now! She’s a petite girl and the cutest little girl with a huge personality. Freya was found a few months ago in our field outside our building by one of our employees. Freya unfortunately was never claimed by an owner and is now in need of a foster home to decompress. Freya has quickly become stressed out in our kennels and needs out asap! She is not a fan of other dogs and will need a foster home where she is the only pet or can be kept completely separate from other pets. During her initial behavior test she showed some possessiveness over her food bowl and toys and was a little weary around strangers at first. However our kennel attendants have been working hard with her on training and she’s been doing wonderful! She is very treat motivated and eager to learn new tricks.
