Meet the happy-go-lucky, chipper, sweet Turkey! This adorable girl is ready to find her forever-bed to snuggle up in with her favorite people. Thanks to her time in foster, we know that Turkey is well housebroken, polite, and always happy to say good morning to her people! Ms. Turkey loves everyone single person she meets, and has been an absolute rockstar in our Real Life Room. She takes the sport of cuddling very seriously! Weight: 60 lbs Spayed/Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Housebroken: Yes! They will potty outside every time or nearly every time (rarely has accidents). Crate-trained: Yes! They will settle in the crate easily and are comfortable staying in it for 4+ hours. Leash behavior: Working on it! They are still learning what the leash is all about and may have some behaviors that will require continued positive reinforcement training. Dog sociability: They don't like them! They do not get along with other dogs and need to be the only dog in the home. Cat sociability: They do not do well with cats! They will chase, bite, attack, or otherwise harm or frighten cats. Kid sociability: Good with older kids! They are a little too much for small kids or have a history of behaviors that are difficult to manage around smaller children, but they are fine with kids ages 13-18. Likes: Gobbling snacks, snuggling on the couch, watching TV, kisses Dislikes: Minimalist homes with no couches Turkey previously had heartworm, but has been heartworm free for over 9 months!
