Mookie is an 8-year-old Pit Mix, weighing just over 70lbs. She has been in a foster home for a couple of years, and we are ready to get her into her forever home!! Mookie is sweet and playful, but she does prefer to be the only dog in the home. She does not get along with cats. Mookie keeps her kennel clean and enjoys playing with squeaky plush toys and snuggling in bed. She loves to go on walks with all her volunteer friends. Queenie is on a fish-based sensitive skin and stomach diet. She also receives apoquel daily.She loves to greet you with her sweet face and wagging tail. She would make an excellent companion and cuddle buddy! She is easily spooked by strange objects (ex. wheelbarrows, plastic bags), shadows, and strangers at first. She does need some training with play time as she gets too excited when you go to grab the toy and will try to grab it at the same time as your hand. Sweet Dudley originally was adopted from us as a puppy. Now, at 7.5 years old, he's back with us due to no fault of his own. He was running around in a nearby county in rough condition. We got some weight back on him and his fur is starting to grow back as well. He's currently just under 80lbs. Despite this period of uncertainty, he's a goofy guy who seems to enjoy the company of humans and other dogs. He loves treats and hanging outside, running the fences with his neighbors. He knows sit and paw, and his favorite thing is butt rubs. Dudley does have hip dysplasia and luxating patellas, likely due to the period of his life with a lack of proper care. He is on anti-inflammatory pain meds to help with the associated discomfort. We would love to get this stocky ol' pittie mix into a home to enjoy the rest of his senior years!

Sweet Romeo came to us as a stray and was never reclaimed. He seems to have been an outside dog as everything about being inside was very new to him. Bubba is 3 years old has a very good temperament. We have two kids, great with kids. Cage trained and walks amazing on leash. Bubba is from a breeder (all paperwork available), he did not have allergies when we got him, but sadly developed them and is more than we can handle at this time. Allergy testing was done and found he is allergic to a lot, including our species of wood floors in our house, so in hopes he would do a lot better in another home. Allergy testing results available. Unfortunately we no longer have the time or money to put into him. He is a good dog that deserves a better home than we can provide right now. Thank you. Hi, I’m Shirley Temple! Don’t let my Resting Grump Face fool you, I am far from grumpy! I’m actually a very happy girl who loves being loved on. I give lots of love back too! I’m a 3-4 year old bully mix and weigh 37 pounds. I was found as a stray and brought to the police department kennel, where I lived for about 2 weeks before my foster mom picked me up. I love car rides, walks, napping, and treats! Speaking of treats, they’re probably my favorite thing ever; especially apples, peanut butter, pumpkin, and banana! I get very excited over food, especially my foster mom’s, but every day I’m getting better and better about not trying to get it off the table! I’m a pretty good girl when we’re walking. Sometimes we see kiddos and other dogs when we’re walking, and I don’t even bark at them! I just stop and watch them, because I love everyone and just want to know what’s going on! I'm a go with the flow girl. My favorite thing to do at home is be right next to my foster mom , whether we’re doing chores, sitting outside or relaxing on the couch. I even try to jump in her lap while she’s working. I do love to lounge, so I may be better in a home with older kids. Don’t get me wrong, I love everybody but I might not be able to keep up with little ones. I’ve been working REAL HARD on potty training. I’ve made a ton of progress since being in my foster home. I still have accidents in the house but they’re mostly on potty pads. I'm even learning how to tell my foster mom when I have to go outside! It’s only a matter of time before I’m fully housebroken! Well, I think that’s enough about me … I can’t wait to meet you and see what you think! The adoption fee for Shirley Temple is $400.
