Thank you for your interest in this sweet girl. Ella has been adopted, Energetic, loving, and goofy 9-year-old Ella is super sweet but needs a family with an experienced dog owner. A little under 2ft tall and 40 lbs, she's sleek and muscular. Ella is fully house-trained and very patient with the three cats she lives with. She's never lived with kids but is generally chill with the children in the neighborhood.   She loves her toys, playing fetch, tug of war games, following you around the house, and of course, napping. Ella wants to be involved in whatever you're doing and is alert to someone coming to the door. She is highly food motivated, Ella picks up new tricks quickly but can be stubborn and easily distracted, so she needs lots of consistent positive reinforcement to maintain behavioral changes. She has many opinions and she will let you know about them.   Ella also plays well with other dogs, although sometimes she has issues with dogs larger than she is, but is good at de-escalating potential conflicts. Ella really loves company so if her new people are gone for a full work day she will need a canine companion. She's leash trained and always excited to jump in the car to visit the park. Hank was adopted from the humane society of silicon valley as a 10-week puppy and is now 6 years old. Hank is goofy and playful and enjoys learning new tricks. He enjoys howling along with sirens as they pass by. However, he is reactive around other dogs (he was attacked by off leash dogs on two occasions) and has become increasingly guarding of his food against our cats (no issues with humans) and it's no longer safe to have him in our house. Ideally he would be an "only dog" in a cat- and child-free home.
