Story
I took in Rosie when she was a year old from the Friends of Detroit Animal Care & Control in Detroit, MI. She is now 2 years old. She’s a very sweet and energetic dog who loves affection! She loves playing outside and going for walks. I am looking for someone willing to tend to her properly and show her unconditional love as I do. I was told that her breed was not allowed in my neighborhood. Also, between working long hours and starting school, I am unable to keep up with tending to her in a timely fashion. There’s no rehome fee. I’m just seeking a nice and loving family who’s willing to give her the proper care she needs! She’s very sweet and protective. Rosie has brought much love into mine and my family’s lives

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Quartz! Quartz is a 2-year-old, 40lb girl (just the right size) that loves affection and to give sweet kisses. She is a happy, active dog that is a real gem! She is potty trained, and knows a lot of commands.  She is also crate trained. She does not chew on inappropriate things but does love to chew on dog toys and her Nylabones. Quartz is good with other large dogs that like to play! but no cats or other small pets. She loves walks and would do well with an active family. Older respectful children may be better due to her jumping at times and not really being aware of her size with little ones. A physically fenced yard is needed for Quartz. Quartz has been through training with K9 Magnum Training to be the best dog she can be.    If Quartz sounds like a match for you family please send in your application.     Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Well, hello there, welcome to my page! What's that, you are here looking for a dog to be your furever buddy! Well that is AMAZING because I am a dog. And guess what!? I am looking for my furever buddy too! Isn't that great! My name is Maserati, or Masi for short. My foster dad just can't stop raving about me! He says I am such a wonderful dog with so much happiness and energy to go around. That couldn't be more true! I play so well with my foster pals, not so good with cats, but definitely love my doggie friends! I will need slow and proper introductions to my new doggie friends. I love to be active with you, but once I have my Nylabone, it is my zen time! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE playing fetch and tug! Need some cuddles and a good kiss, I got that covered. If you adopt me {Raises right paw}, I promise to always have your back no matter what. I promise to always give you the love and attention that we both can handle. It would make me the happiest dog on earth to become a part of your family! I really hope that I get to meet you soon! Eagerly awaiting your furever lap! P.S. - I really hope you have a fenced in yard for me to play in. For more information or questions, email Tim at tmb611@msn.com. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Kobe is the sweets dog I have ever meet, he loves everyone! He is doing great with my dogs and young kids! He is happy to play with toys, cuddle up with you, or he can relax by himself. He is comfortable being in a crate, but we have found he does great being left out too. He does well on a leash, love sniff and walk. Kobe’s fantastic happy howl and occasional big bark will put a smile on your face. Kobe is a two-year-old Staffy mix weighing 60 lbs, but goal to lose some weight. He is tan and white.Perfect if you like to skip the puppy stage and go right into a dog that can be your best friend. Kobe has been though a lot in his first two years of life. He is recovered from hip surgery; he will need increasing walks to build back up his muscle. Kobe may never have full range of motion in his back right leg but he his happy and gets around well. Kobe finished his principal treatment for being heart worm positive. He will have followed up with his current vet to ensure he is completely heart worm free. This follow up test and if needed (although unlikely) additional treatment for current case of heart worm would be paid for by last day dog rescue. activity restrictions end August 13th and he will be ready to play with his forever family! &#226&#128&#139 Please come meet this special pup who would love to be part of your family. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Poppy is a beautiful girl who is very friendly, affectionate, and always seems happy! She is energetic, a little bit goofy, and she prances when she walks. She has a little problem with personal space because she loves to be right up close to you, whether it’s playing fetch or tug, cuddling, trying to be a lapdog, or just following you around to see what you’re doing. She loves attention and is just happy to be with you. Poppy is very active and playful and also curious and smart, so she needs a lot of stimulation to make sure her energy is channeled in a good direction. She does well with a consistent structure and she responds well to training and redirection. She knows some basic commands like sit, stay, come, lay down, and leave it, and she is crate trained. She loves walks and is doing a great job learning to behave calmly on a leash. Poppy loves people and is good with other dogs and children. She would do great with an active family who can give her lots of attention and love. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. My name is Tiger because of my pretty striped fur, but really, I am more like Tigger: “bouncy, trouncy, pouncy… fun, fun, fun!” I’m really happy when I am around other people or other dogs – I pretty much like everyone! I would love to be in a family where I can get lots of attention and exercise. I may not be as good with young children because I’m still a puppy with plenty of energy and haven’t yet learned to control my excitement. I love to run and play. I’m also very affectionate and love to be cuddled and pet. I am crate trained, housebroken, and do well on a leash. I know “sit”, “stay”, “come”, “lay down”, and “shake”. I am pretty good at learning new things, and am working on “drop it”, “leave it”, and “go to mat”.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Story
Hi, I'm Tiger! I'm a sweetheart of a dog looking for someone who can give me a loving home. My ideal home includes a fenced in yard for me to run in! I would prefer a home without children, and I would like to meet any potential doggie siblings before I go home so I can see if they pass my vibe check. If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out an adoption survey online or in the shelter.I have been in foster and they gave me a review! "Tiger enjoys walks in the woods, meeting dogs, afterwards he'll sit in the grass , roll over and wiggle back and forth. When I've stopped to talk with someone while we are on a walk, he will lay down and just wait till I'm ready to move on. I don't know if this is good or bad, but he will often follow me around the house. He does little half jumps when you come home, happy to see you, tail wagging. Not big on toys that I've seen so far. Can sit and shake paw for a treat. He has not been destructive when left alone in the house while I'm at work, it seems like he just sleeps. He pulls a bit on walks but is quite calm while in the house and likes to sit quietly and watch the goings of the neighborhood out the window or front door. Very chill, low energy doggie. Loves to be scratched all over. A good gentleman when meeting people."
