Story
Meet Frannie: Ready to Start a New Chapter in Her Life! Frannie is a true survivor and a loving soul who has dedicated herself to raising her 7 precious babies. Now, it's her turn to find the loving home she truly deserves! Frannie is a well-behaved girl who's potty trained and crate trained, although she's such a good girl that she doesn't really need to be crated. She's a social butterfly who adores other dogs and relishes in playtime. Frannie's boundless energy and love for fun make her the perfect companion for active households! Frannie does have a special requirement—a fully fenced-in yard, preferably with a privacy fence. She's quite the jumper and wants to ensure she stays safe in her new home. This sweet girl thrives on attention and affection. She's a cuddle expert who loves to be petted and is as sweet as can be. Frannie came to the rescue pregnant, and all her 7 babies have found their forever homes. Now, it's time for Frannie to have her own loving family. She may not be a fan of small dogs, but we believe she could do wonderfully with a larger male companion. If you have a heart full of love and a fully fenced yard that Frannie can call her own, she's waiting for you with open paws and a heart full of affection. Give Frannie the loving home she's been longing for.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Tiger is an extremely cuddly dog - he would be content to spend all day long snuggled up on the couch with his person! He makes an excellent blanket, and will climb right on top of people and lay down to be as close to them as possible. While he is very calm and loving when he is comfortable with people, he can get anxious in new situations and become overstimulated easily. He will let you know when he is overstimulated with his high energy and inability to settle down. We are working on being calm in new situations, but he would still like a home that will give him the time he needs to get used to everything new. Once he is comfortable with you, his calm and snuggly personality will come out! Tiger is also very smart and easy to train - he can learn a new trick or behavior in minutes! He picks up on repeated behaviors easily, and will start to anticipate what gets him rewarded at specific times of day or following certain environmental clues. Because of this, he absolutely thrives with a routine. So far, Tiger has learned "sit", "down", "paw", "other paw", "leave it", "stay", and "come", and is also doing pretty well with "drop", "mat", "crate", and "roll over". He walks very well on a leash and only pulls if he sees a cat or squirrel. This prey drive means he probably wouldn't do well in a home with a cat, but may do okay with another dog as long as he has plenty of time to get used to them slowly. His overexcitement at meeting new dogs tends to put them off, and he isn't great at taking their social cues of not wanting to play. Similarly, he isn't used to being around kids and may be overstimulated by their energy at first.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. My name is Daffodil, but my foster mom calls me Dilly, Silly Dilly. I'm a feisty little pup. I have a lot of energy during the day, sniffing and running around the yard, and play pouncing on my human... I like to sneak and pounce. I'm learning new tricks like sit, paw, down and up. By night I'm definitely a snuggler and would love it if you let me sleep in your bed and lay on your lap. &#226&#128&#139 For some reason I'm not really getting along with other pups right now. I'm trying to work on that since I'm still young, but there's a chance I'll want to be your one and only. I watched all my siblings and mama find their forever homes and I'm ready for mine!  Click here to watch a video of Qu Litter Daffodil.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Peach is approximately 1 year old. She was a stray that wasn’t claimed and was emaciated at only 37 lbs. She was originally very shy but has come out of her shell to show her sweet as a peach personality. She is now a healthy 63 pounds. Peach is an intelligent dog that is food motivated, however, she has NOT shown any food aggression. Peach has learned several commands while in foster including sit, shake, down, stay and roll over. Peach is delightful to have as a foster and gets along with other dogs and kids. She is excited each time her people return. Peach is still working on manners of saying hello. She would do best with a family that can tolerate some jumps on her adults as her “hello” but getting better. Peach loves learning new things, playing tug or fetch. After her exciting play is done, she will happily cuddle up with you. Peach will need to work on alerting when she needs outside, but can hold it all night. If you are looking for a forever best friend that is always ecstatic to see you please consider meeting Peach.
