Meet Fozzy Fozzy’s story is one of resilience, patience, and heart. He has been with us since 2023, and when he first arrived, life was overwhelming. Human touch made him nervous, other dogs confused him, and the shelter environment was simply too much. With time, patience, and plenty of love, Fozzy has grown into a dog who is finally ready for his next chapter. He is about three years old, up to date on all of his medical care, and has discovered a deep love for toys—anything he sees quickly becomes his new favorite. While he can enjoy playtime with other dogs, he does best when he does not have to share his toys or his personal space. Fozzy is short, stocky, a little goofy, and full of love. He is still learning, but he has already proven just how resilient and adaptable he can be. After everything he has been through, he is truly a diamond in the rough, and we know the right family or foster is out there waiting to give him the safe and loving home he deserves. Cibo A18719550 lb. spayed female, approx 3 years old -This girl is still a little nervous, but she is trying so hard. In the yard, she kept her ears slightly back and was cautious, yet she continued coming over to me for pets. She would sit right between my legs and gently nudge me for attention, showing that even though she was unsure, she really wanted to connect.-She loves treats and takes them incredibly gently. She knows how to sit, too! As she became more comfortable, the kisses started coming, and by the end of our time together she had relaxed enough to lie between my legs and completely flip over for belly rubs. -Inside, I got to see more of her personality peek out. She did a few little zoomies, then would suddenly freeze as if she wasn’t quite sure whether she was allowed to have that much fun. When I stopped petting her, she would slowly and gently paw at me for more. And, of course, there were plenty more kisses.-She’s definitely coming around, but she’s still a nervous girl who needs someone willing to move at her pace and give her the patience and reassurance she needs. Even her walks are slow and cautious right now—she loves to stop and sniff, and sometimes puts on the brakes when she needs a little encouragement.-There’s a sweet, affectionate girl in there, and she’s already giving little glimpses of her playful and cuddly side. She finally came around to trust us, and is now a loving sweetheart. Citrus wants an understanding foster-to-adopt home, who wants to baby her. She is estimated to be 2-4 years old, and a mix between English Bulldog and Boxer. Citrus has a classic cautious and disapproving yet personable English Bulldog personality, and the silly play style of a Boxer. We are looking for a household without children for Citrus. Leashed walks are fine, she does not require a fenced in yard. Citrus has dog friends at the shelter - but incorporating her into a home dynamic with other dogs will take weeks. She was a little unsure about the leash at first, but once she sniffed me out and accepted a treat, she was easy to loop and came out nicely. She walks at a slow, steady pace and seems to really enjoy taking her time.-In the yard, her favorite place was right beside me. She’s a gentle, somewhat timid girl who can be a little head shy. She has an eye that appears to have limited vision, so quick movements around her face can make her flinch. She is receiving treatment for it, and hopefully with some time, drops and medication, she’ll feel more comfortable.-She’s very treat motivated, knows how to sit, and takes treats beautifully. Toys? Not her thing! She’d much rather focus on her two favorite things: snacks and snuggles. She even gives the sweetest little kisses.-She’s a low-key, low-energy girl who seems happiest simply being close to her person.
