Thomas got adopted and they decided to turn around to return him before they even made it home. We NEED to share the story because we believe someone out there will appreciate it & love Thomas more for it! On his way home from being adopted, Thomas & his new family were going through the McDonald’s drive thru. (We’ve all smelled the delicious scent of a McD’s drive thru...) When they pulled up to the window, Thomas smelled THAT SMELL and couldn’t contain his excitement. He took a leap — straight out of the car window, through the drive thru window & ended up INSIDE THE MCDONALD’S. Yes, that’s right. This little hamburglar could join in on Olympic jumping team…if burgers were at the finish line. If you appreciate this story as much as we do, you’ll appreciate the joy Thomas brings. In his defense, who hasn’t made questionable decisions in a drive thru?! Thomas is crate- and potty-trained, making him a perfect addition to any home. He knows basic commands and loves to impress by giving his paw, a gesture that captures hearts immediately! Thomas thrives on companionship with humans and dogs. He loves playtime and has a friendly demeanor. His ideal people would be home often or a home with enough people that someone is usually around. Meet Percy! The perfect pocket pitty! Percy came to us from a city shelter, with signs of an embedded collar. Percy is approximately 8 months old, currency weighing 34lbs. He is so tiny and little that you just want to kiss his face all over! He is the sweetest and kindest little guy, he loves, loves LOVES other dogs and we would love for him to have another fun loving dog in his forever home. He lives with kittens and cats and does sometimes chase, but he is more curious than anything. If he went home with cats, he would need some direction and cats would need to be pretty dog savvy. He is however, very respondent to redirection. Percy is a typical puppy, he will need basic training and has puppy energy, please consider your lifestyle to make sure he will be a good fit. He lives with a 5 year old and is very gentle, he adores kids and loves nothing more than snuggling with his humans. Potty training is work in progress but thrives on routine and is catching on. He walks like an angel on the leash, he trots right by you, soaking up the summer air. He is crate trained but will cry initially, he does quiet down after a while. Meet Patty, a cute 2-year-old pup with the sweetest smile and the cutest little beefy body. Patty is the perfect mix of fun and loving. She has a generally calm demeanor but is excitable when it comes to playing, getting scratches or just seeing her favorite human, but is also happy to just lay and snuggle. Patty’s favorite things include walks, playing with the other dogs, finding a toy to chew on and snuggling. While she loves to play, she also likes to snuggle up and lay down when playtime is over. If allowed, Patty will sleep with her head on your pillow and shoulder. Patty makes the cutest little make snort and grunting noises too! She’s very friendly with dogs and humans alike. Meet Roxy! Roxy came to us when she found herself at an overcrowded shelter after being found as a stray. Unfortunately, no one came for her, which we are SHOCKED to hear, since she is such a GREAT pup! She even knows, SIT, SHAKE and DOWN. We estimate Roxy to be 2 years old and she weighs 60 lbs. She currently lives with multiple cats and dogs and gets along with them all! Unfortunately she hasn't met any small children yet, but we do not foresee any issues. Roxy is left out when her foster parents leave the home and is non destructive. She is doing great with potty training and has only had a couple accidents over the last week. (With the change in environment from shelter to foster home, she is confused.
