Story
Meet Lizzie — 50 lbs of Pure Love Lizzie is the kind of dog who makes you wonder how you ever lived without her. Sweet, social, and full of heart, this lovable girl is looking for her forever family — and she just might be yours. Lizzie is a people magnet. She adores adults, kids, and her fellow furry friends alike, and she thrives at the dog park where she can run, romp, and make new pals. She loves a good game of fetch and brings the same enthusiasm to playtime as she does to cuddle time. She's already got a solid foundation — she knows sit, down, and stay, and is fully potty trained. She's still polishing her manners (who isn't?), but her eagerness to please makes training a joy. A little patience goes a long way with this girl. One note: Lizzie and chickens are not meant to be. A home without backyard poultry would be her perfect match! If you're looking for a dog with a warm personality, a playful spirit, and a whole lot of love to give, Lizzie is ready to steal your heart — and your spot on the couch. Come meet her. We dare you not to fall in love  Ready to meet your perfect sidekick? Apply today at eapl.com!  Adoption fee: $375  June 13, 2026, 12:42 am

Lady, cattledog mix, 5 yo, 60 lb, spayed femaleLady is thin long-legged cattledog mix with the cutest face and floppy ears. She is curious and fascinated by all kinds of things. Lady spent months and months in limbo in boarding and was happy to join our gang and have a choice of playmates.  She is young and active, and needs a fenced yard.  Lady finds it most comforting to lie down close to you especially if she can somehow lean into you. It is hard to understand how this gentle angel, still almost a puppy, could be abandoned. We so hope to find stable loving home for her. Adoption fee $325. Story
Meet Waldo. A total lover boy. Some dogs leave paw prints on your heart from day one. Waldo is one of those dogs. Waldo is a 1.5-year-old Staffordshire Terrier, Pit Bull, Heeler, and Boxer mix who was adopted by a sweet , older couple who have decided he was a bit too strong for them. 30 % American Staffordshire Terrier 25 % Australian Cattle Dog 24 % American Pit Bull Terrier 16 % Boxer 3 % German Shepherd Dog This isn't a story of a difficult dog. This is a story of a dog who deserves a life that matches his energy — and two people brave enough to admit that, because they love him. "We love this sweet boy so much, and it breaks our hearts to do this — but he is physically 'too much dog' for us to handle safely." Who Waldo is: A recent genetic test revealed Waldo is a mix of Staffordshire Terrier, Pit Bull, Heeler, and Boxer — a combination that explains both his impressive strength and his enormous, gentle heart. He takes treats with the softest mouth. He has been kind and calm with their cats. He greets every dog he meets with warmth. He's also a character. Waldo has a quirky, joyful play style: he loves to bury his toys in the bushes. That's Waldo. Pure sweetness wrapped in a whole lot of dog. His story — a survivor: Waldo is a distemper survivor, and that resilience is part of who he is. As a result, he has a few physical quirks his next family should know about going in: Balance on stairs: He occasionally loses his footing — patience and support make all the difference Slippery floors: When excited, he slides on tile; carpet or runners will help him stay steady Big energy outdoors: He needs daily outdoor time with someone who can confidently hold the leash None of this diminishes him — it's simply part of his resilient spirit, and the right family will embrace it. What he needs: Waldo needs a younger person or a stronger individual — someone who can be confidently on the other end of his leash as he explores the world. He has already worked with a trainer and he is not a bad dog by any measure. He is an enthusiastic dog. A joyful dog. A dog who loves deeply and lives fully. Waldo is a very special dog. He deserves the best life ever. Even though this situation breaks our hearts, we know he's going to find it. Have enough love in your heart for him? Apply to adopt at EAPL.com His adoption fee is $375 June 13, 2026, 12:42 am

Story
Meet Liv!  Liv is a 10-year-old Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler — but don't let that number fool you for a second. She plays just as hard as Marlee, our 4-month-old foster, and honestly? We're not sure we believe she's actually 10. This girl is full of life. She loves fetch, tug-of-war, squeaky toys, and absolutely lives for a car ride — she'd make the perfect co-pilot for someone who's always on the go. Road trippers, adventurers, or even truckers? Liv is your girl. With people, she is an absolute sweetheart. She's wonderful with kids, completely unbothered by cats, and fiercely loyal to her person — the kind of dog who stays right by your side. She warms up easily to new people when she needs to, making her adaptable without losing that special bond she forms. When it comes to other dogs, Liv does best as the only dog or with a calm, easygoing companion. She can be selective with other dogs and has shown some food-guarding behavior around them, so slow, careful introductions will be key. Most of the time she's wagging her tail around other dogs — she may just want to play, but she does best with a more laid-back dog who won't misread her energy. Liv's perfect home: Active owner who loves outdoor adventures Home with no dogs, or one calm/submissive dog Kids welcome  Cats welcome  She's got so much love left to give. Could you be her person?  Apply to adopt at EAPL.com. Liv has a sponsored adoption fee! June 13, 2026, 12:42 am
