Story
Meet Carlos! This 1.5yr baby boy is eager to find his forever home! He had a rough start to life as a stray in KS, then was whisked away to beautiful Colorado where he now happily lives with his foster family. Carlos loves other dogs, but has a high prey drive and so is not recommended for a home with cats at this time. He plays rough, which his husky foster brother LOVES, but may be a bit much for some dogs. We recommend a meet and greet with any existing dogs in the home! Carlos also seems to be great with older children! This baby boy can be leash reactive, especially to strangers on walks, and is prone to over excitement. Because of this, he’s recommended for a dog savvy home. He is training everyday to become more neutral on the leash; but stepping up as his new handler creates an unbeatable bonding experience! Hurry! Fill out an application and meet this handsome boy before he’s snatched up!

Story
*Panda will come with a 2 week adoption trial period and at least 1-2 week free dog board and train after adoption **Currently located in Denver, CO with our trainer Frankie and Friends Dog Training Hi! My name is Panda and I am a 10-month-old male Australian Cattle Dog Mix! I currently weigh about 40lbs and could probably lose some weight and be at 35. The rescue picked me up from the Riverdale Animal Shelter where I was taken in as a stray. My people are not quite sure what my past was like but they do know that I had a rough start in life that has made me fearful of humans. I love my foster family dogs and I am very good with new dogs. I am not comfortable with new humans especially when they are in my personal space. My new family will need to advocate for my space and help me warm up to new people on my own terms and on my own time but have been great with my different foster moms and dads so I just need time. I am looking for a forever family who can show me patience, understanding and unconditional love as I continue to grow and get used to my new safe life. When I am scared or even cranky, I have a tendency to snap and nip to express what I want. This is why I really need a family who understands the breed, doesn't have young children and someone willing to work with my foster mom dog trainer. I met a cat on one of my morning walks! At first I was scared and tried to run away. This cat was confident and just meowed at me. I was intrigued and I tried to get it to play chase me! With some more training and exposure, I could be good with cats! I am going to be a great adventure buddy. So far, I’ve been on camping, hiking and on the paddle board and I did great! I also love going on bike rides! I am a cattle dog so whatever my favorite humans are doing, I will want to do it with them! I come house, crate, leash and muzzle trained! I am good with "yes" work! I am currently going through a board and train program which my trainer will share all the knowledge I am learning with you!

Story
Winnie is a 2 year old who was once a feral dog and will need time to adjust to her new home. She has amazing recall and does best with dogs her size or smaller, she loves being a part of a pack. She is completing a two month board and train end of sept and will be ready for her forever home in October. Winnies Checklist PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE APPLYING - Must have another dog, close to her size and age would be amazing for her! Needs to also have recall training so they can run off leash together - Be okay with it taking a month before Winnie opens up to you. She doesn't understand physical pets/contact so if you are looking for a cuddly dog, she isn't it. She likes pets in the morning otherwise likes to go at her own pace. - Needs constancy so not a house with people coming and going will not work. Putting her in daycare also not an option, she needs her people. - She can be on leash but does best off leash with her solid recall - She is crate and house trained and will jump in the car with you to travel using the command "up" Ranch/horse/barn owners, she would love to do chores with you :) She will not do well in a busy neighborhood like Denver. We love this girl and she has been with us for a long time. Once this girl finds her forever home we can save more feral dogs like her. Comes with free dog training sessions upon adoption.

Honey is such a loveable pup! She can be insecure in new situations but with a little encouragement, she's bound to make friends quickly! Honey will appreciate an adopter who helps build her confidence in her new home and she might enjoy a confident dog friend to help show her the ropes! At this time, Honey is recommended for a home with older or no children.

Rocky, blue heeler / red heeler mix, 8 yo, neutered male, 42 lb Rocky is very calm, sweet and seems to always be in a good mood, happy to join any activity or just be around. He has unique fuzzy heeler coloring, mostly silver wit a little bit of red. He is loving and dog friendly, wags his tail when meets a new dog. Loves to run and investigate outside, you can see joy and anticipation on his face. Was surrendered due to owner moving. Rocky would make a great companion to someone who prefers moderately active and mellow dog.  Adoption fee $325.
