Story
The Brush gang arrived at the Rescue from Brush, CO.  Animal Control had them for some time and could not find their furever families, so they asked for help.  They are a sweet, friendly group of Austrailian Cattledog, Lab and pittbull.   They are a very energetic and happy group that can jump high, so a high fence with a large yard or property will be needed for these pups.   Brush pink flowers is an almost 2 year old and looks mostly Cattledog with her spots, she is spayed, microchipped and current on shots.  She is kennel trained but has not spent time in the house, she has her own kennel at night but shares her yard with her brother. Please fill out an application at www.fureverdogdenver.com   If you have any questions or to meet me, please call (720) 588-6809. ##1788564##

Story
Fourth Chorus is a gentle sweet soul who is still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. He is a shy boy with the softest heart and once he feels comfortable you can see just how loving and tender he truly is. He may take a little time to warm up but every small step forward is truly special to witness. One of the first things people notice about Fourth Chorus is his eye with a stunning blue streak running through it. It is incredibly pretty and gives him the most unique soulful look. This handsome guy will thrive with a patient compassionate human who can help build his confidence at his own pace. He is very shy on leash and still learning that walks are nothing to fear but he does go potty on leash and is doing his best every day. Fourth Chorus absolutely loves playing with other dogs and would be happy to have a dog friend in the home to help show him the ropes. He is not reactive and does wonderfully with canine companions.Fourth Chorus is currently in foster where he continues to learn that love safety and kindness are real. He is the kind of pup who will quietly steal your heart with his gentle eyes soft presence and the trust he slowly places in you. If you are looking for a truly special dog to love guide and cheer on as he blossoms Fourth Chorus may be your perfect match. For any additional questions, please reach out to adopt@souldog.org

Story
Sue Snue is a 3-year-old mama pup and a stunning blue and red heeler mix with truly unique coloring. She has a soft, soulful presence that draws you in. She is a lower-energy cattle dog who is perfectly happy hanging by your side all day, going for peaceful trail walks, and being a loyal companion.Sue is naturally shy and timid, especially in new environments, but beneath that uncertainty is a remarkably courageous and curious dog. In calm, quiet, and supportive surroundings, she blossoms. She wants to be where her people are and shows a strong desire to explore her world at her own pace.Confidence does not come easily to Sue, but she works hard for it, and her quick progress has been impressive. She is gaining more confidence every day with the help of her foster siblings, who are gently showing her what it means to live as a confident dog, learning to trust, embrace play, and slowly fulfill the potential of her best life. She is very affectionate in the sweetest way, always wanting to be near her humans. When she feels overwhelmed, she seeks comfort and reassurance from her person, often hopping up with pleading eyes asking for protection. Although she’s shy, she trusts people deeply and loves to welcome you home with a smile (a unique trait!), literally baring her teeth in excitement, whether it’s to greet you or because she’s thrilled it’s dinnertime. She is especially fond of exploring the backyard, which has brought her a lot of joy and confidence. She’s learning basic training cues like touch and sit, walks beautifully on leash, rides well in the car, and continues to surprise everyone with how quickly she adapts. Loud noises and busy environments, traffic, city life, garbage trucks, are still scary for her, so a quieter home would suit her best.Sue Snue is learning how to be a dog again, and she’s doing it with bravery, curiosity, and heart. She would make a wonderful, close-knit companion for someone patient and kind who wants a true best friend, and is ready to offer her the forever home she deserves!
