Story
Ms Lulu is quite the character! She is happy and funny and Loves to run and run. When she stops, she stops! She took over the house and yard the first day protecting and keeping all threats away from the fence. She is a snuggler and will sit on the couch and sleep in the big person bed or an open crate. She does prowl and protect through the night. She is house trained and uses a doggy door. Lulu is okay with small dogs but maybe no dog under 20lbs until proper intros are made - otherwise male or female dogs are fine. No idea about cats. She is a cattle dog and seems as if she may have been trained to herd beyond what comes natural? She got out of the gate once and was fine with the goat and chickens. Cattle and horses would be safe. She is an active working dog who would love an active lifestyle if you can provide it. She loves the water too. She will herd children by nipping on their heels so maybe a bit older children who understand that's just what her breed does and won't cry. She does pretty well on a leash, rides in the car like a pro, loves puppies because she was a mom a time or two. Her tongue hangs out and her jaw is a bit off (maybe birth defect or an injury) but it does not affect her appetite! She is spayed, HW negative and up to date on shots. Lulu is a really sweet dog and wants a home of her own. please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note Lulu is in San Antonio, TX and is available to be transported to your location with Your TX Rescue Connection transport. This handsome boy is Stoney. He is a 3-year-old Australian shepherd (Aussie) mix and weighs 55 lb. Stoney takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once he does, he's ready for the party to begin! Stoney is an active dog who is already showing signs he'd be a great sport dog/trainer's dog prospect. Stoney walks well on a leash and is incredibly sweet once he knows you. Stoney is good with other dogs and loves to play outside. Due to his size and his abilities with zoomies, Stoney would do best with older children. We don't know what he thinks of cats, but can cat-test him if needed. Stoney is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and healthy. His adoption fee is $440.
