Story
Ms Lulu is quite the character! She is happy and funny and Loves to run and run. When she stops, she stops! She took over the house and yard the first day protecting and keeping all threats away from the fence. She is a snuggler and will sit on the couch and sleep in the big person bed or an open crate. She does prowl and protect through the night. She is house trained and uses a doggy door. Lulu is okay with small dogs but maybe no dog under 20lbs until proper intros are made - otherwise male or female dogs are fine. No idea about cats. She is a cattle dog and seems as if she may have been trained to herd beyond what comes natural? She got out of the gate once and was fine with the goat and chickens. Cattle and horses would be safe. She is an active working dog who would love an active lifestyle if you can provide it. She loves the water too. She will herd children by nipping on their heels so maybe a bit older children who understand that's just what her breed does and won't cry. She does pretty well on a leash, rides in the car like a pro, loves puppies because she was a mom a time or two. Her tongue hangs out and her jaw is a bit off (maybe birth defect or an injury) but it does not affect her appetite! She is spayed, HW negative and up to date on shots. Lulu is a really sweet dog and wants a home of her own. please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note Lulu is in San Antonio, TX and is available to be transported to your location with Your TX Rescue Connection transport. The fee includes adoption and transportation fee.

Story
*Name: Mumbles *Age: 3 years old *Current Weight: 40 pounds *Rescued from: TN *Adoption fee: waived (a wonderful donor has sponsored Mumbles adoption fee)  *Health: Up to date on vaccines, Neutered, & microchipped *Adoption requirements: Adopter must be 25 or older, Mumbles needs to be the only dog in the home.  Meet Mumbles! Mumbles is a 3 year old cattle dog mix. He is such a affectionate pup but does require an owner who understands the needs of his breed (heeler/cattle dog). Mumbles is still very much a puppy and is VERY active, he can jump high so we do require applicants to have a fully fenced in yard. Mumbles is very unsure of other dogs, so he would do best in a home where he could get all the love and attention. Mumbles LOVES his humans, loves to play and would love a home to cuddle up by your side after a nice run in the yard. He does great with kids, responds to recall, and listens to commands. Mumbles is very obedient and eager to please his humans. Mumbles is located at our adoption center in Brewster NY!  Maybe you can give him a home to call his own?! To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ FAQs -- PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE EMAILING All adoption fees are non-refundable If paying by credit card, Venmo, or PayPal there is a set processing fee, generally this fee is under $15 per pet. These processing fees are determined by the form of payment adopters decide to use. By helping with this minimal cost this allows us to save more animals. Please note that SNARR NE is a volunteer-based organization. While our volunteers will try to respond to you as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the below information about our adoption process before emailing: LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the puppy's/dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents depending on the situation. *NOTE* We rarely know a dog's exact age, nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. Because we often do not have access to medical records at the time that we are listing for dogs for adoption, there are sometimes discrepancies between what is posted on their profile and what might be listed on a dog's medical records. SNARR'S ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting a SNARR dog/puppy is to fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/. Once we receive your application, one of our adoption application processors will contact you, review our adoption process with you, and answer any additional questions you may have. **We do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions, but on best fit for a family and most importantly the puppy or dog. ** MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until after your adoption application has been fully processed and approved by one of our adoption processors. APPLYING ONLINE: If you fill out an online application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device), make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible, and that you receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, that means we did NOT receive your application. ##1094415##

Story
Hey there humans, I’m Travis! I’m a 7-month-old Aussie/Catahoula mix, and I’m basically a 20 pound bundle of love with legs. I’m super sweet, incredibly social, and I truly love making friends — both human and canine. If there’s another dog around, I’m happy. If there’s a person around, I’m happy. I’m still young, so I bring that joyful energy that makes everything feel a little brighter. One thing people always notice about me is how handsome I am. I’ve got the most gorgeous markings, and my favorite feature is the adorable little brown spot on my nose — it’s kind of my signature. I love attention and being told how cute I am (which happens a lot). I’m looking for a forever home where I can keep growing, playing, and loving as much as possible. If you’re searching for a sweet, social boy with movie-star looks and a heart to match, I think we were meant to find each other. Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Hey, baby, what’s your sign? Lilli Belle’s birthday is July 22 so she’s a Cancer. Like most Cancers, this 5 1/2-year-old Mini Australian Shepard is sensitive, nurturing, and loyal. Lilli Belle is also a bit nervous—it’s no wonder, since this 26 pound mama has spent her life in a puppy mill, used repeatedly for breeding. Now it’s time for this sensitive and loving girl to have a warm and caring forever home. She’s getting braver by the day and with another doggie friend by her side, we think she’ll gain her confidence in no time . Whether you’re into astrology or not, Lilli Belle could be the perfect match for you…& your pup! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). Story
Hello world! I'm Geri, short for Gerald. I'm a 7 month old 19 pound Mini Australian Shepard. I needed a less serious nickname because I'm really a chill guy. My puppy- energy level isn't that high. I'm a medium-energy dog who is happy with some playtime and a walk, followed by cuddling up and relaxing. It could be because I was born with cataracts in both eyes. So while it doesn't stop me from being a happy puppy, I'm just a little more careful sometimes. I'm really a handsome fella with a beautiful tri-color coat. I'm very photogenic as you can see, so I'd be a great addition to holiday photos! If you're looking for a sweet puppy to train as a perfect little soulmate, I'm your guy.Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). Story
Helloooooooo, I'm Joey, Joelyn, Lil girl Joey, a 3 month old 8 pound Mini Australian Shepard! I'm a happy, spunky, fun-loving puppy. I love to romp around and play. I came here with my mama, you can see her on the website too! Her name is Lili Belle. Just in case you're wondering where I got my good looks. Somehow I'm much smaller than her though and I was born with cataracts in my eyes. But that doesn't stop me. No sir! I'm friendly and brave. I'll meet any new person or dog that comes my way with a wagging tail. Everyone says they like watching me run in the play yard because it's just "pure joy". I'm not sure what that means yet but maybe I'll understand when I'm older. It would probably be best if you had another dog in the house, because I'm still young, and they can help teach me how to be a big girl and grow to be independent. I really enjoy cuddling up to my mom, but I know she needs to find her own home too; I'm looking forward to starting my own path. I'd be happy to meet you, play, and make you smile. I'm pretty good at it. What's not to be happy about? Life can be so great!Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org).
