His shiny coat, unique coloring, and those two mesmerizing blue eyes make him an absolute showstopper—and he gets nonstop compliments wherever he goes. But Goliath isn’t just a pretty face; he genuinely lives to be a good boy, please his humans, and do the right thing. He’s incredibly intelligent, highly tuned into people’s emotions and intentions, and picks up on routines and training remarkably quickly. With his smarts come both advantages and challenges: he is extremely trainable and eager to please, but he can also be a bit high-strung compared to other dogs his age. He has no naughty bone in his body, but without proper outlets for his energy and brainpower, he can become restless, showing behaviors like excessive licking, scratching, or whining. With consistent exercise, outdoor time, and a structured routine with clear boundaries, Goliath absolutely thrives. He doesn’t require any special medications or kenneling, and his previous nervous behaviors are completely resolved. That said, he does best in a home that offers both high levels of physical activity and mental engagement, along with consistent leadership and structure to help him feel calm and secure during downtime. Goliath is incredibly well-rounded and trustworthy. He does beautifully with people, other animals, and new situations. He kennels perfectly, rides well in the car, can be left home alone for extended periods, walks politely on leash (especially with a gentle leader), and is 100% potty trained. Cobre is a Corgi/Cattle Dog mix who made his way up from Texas in September 2025 and is slowly learning that life can be pretty good. He is a very shy and skittish boy when meeting new people, so patience and a gentle approach are essential. While he may never be the life of the party, Cobre is deeply content with the people he knows and trusts, and once you’re in his circle, his loyalty truly shines. Cobre is fully crate trained and happily sleeps in his kennel at night and relaxes there when his foster mom is away. He’s also fully potty trained and does great living with other animals—he currently shares his home with another dog, two cats, and even a duck! He especially adores his foster dog sister and follows her everywhere. While another dog isn’t required in his future home, having a canine buddy could help him feel more confident as he settles in. He is gentle and playful with the cats, enjoys carrying toys around (and enthusiastically “deconstructing” them), and loves spending time outdoors running and playing in the yard when the weather is nice. Cobre enjoys going for walks and rides very well in the car, though he can get a bit carsick at times. Like many smart, curious pups, Cobre is still working on his basic manners. He’s treat-motivated, sits nicely for snacks, and learns quickly, which will make continued training a rewarding experience. He does need supervision, as he may chew on items like shoes or blankets if left unattended—and he’s a bit of a counter surfer, so food should stay safely out of reach. At the end of the day, Cobre enjoys wandering, playing, and then settling in on the couch when it’s time to relax. As a result, he is timid with new people still but he is learning that humans can be friends. He really shines when he has a doggy best friend with him to give him a boost of confidence! He loves walks and would enjoy living with an active person or a home with a fenced in yard so he can run and play! His favorite part of day is outside time. He would never come back in if he had the choice. It often looks like he is smiling as he is laying in the grass. They are then transferred to foster homes throughout MN and some into ND so they can get used to lifestyles with a family in a home. Adoption fee for an adult dog is $300 + Mn tax. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Rza pronounced (Rizza) is a 39lb spayed female who is about 5 years old and waiting to be your best friend! She is a wonderful companion dog - loving and devoted to her people. She loves cuddling on the couch and will sleep with you. Rza is just a charmer with extremely soft fur and a cute smooshy face and beautiful deep brown eyes! Rza is generally a pretty calm dog most of the time - and like many of us in the winter time, is a little "fluffy" right now from too many treats. Rza is fully potty trained and lets you know when she needs to go out with a couple special barks. She loves eating grass in the summer and relaxing in the sun, taking breaks to roll in the fresh smelly lawn. On colder days, Rza loves laying on her bed in front of the heating vent in the winter and playing in the snow. he likes being brushed and loves lick mats. She loves tug of war and fetch for about 10-15 minutes at a time, then she takes her ball away and chews on it. She is food motivated except on walks or when she is a little nervous. But oh, does she love walks! Rza's foster is working on her barking when she sees another dog on walks. She is very clumsy and will accidentally knock children over - so no small kids would be best! Rza came from living outdoors in North Dakota where she was attacked several times by packs of dogs twice her size. Because of this, she is dog selective and would prefer to be the only pup in the home - she won't be a dog you can take to a dog park or a brewery. However, she can play with single dogs her size (40 lbs) who are used to a rougher play style, but occasionally will become overstimulated so play should be supervised at all times. There's the chance that she may be able to live with an older similar sized calmer dog. Rza does have resource guarding with toys and food, which is another reason why she might be happier as a solo dog.
