Maynard is an almost 4-year-old Australian Cattle Dog who just loves everyone. Weighing about 50 pounds, he’s wonderfully social and genuinely loves meeting new people, greeting strangers like old friends who just haven’t gotten enough hugs yet.He immediately settled into his foster home upon arrival, making himself comfortable and adapting to a new routine beautifully. Maynard is fully house-trained and will happily let you know when he needs to go potty. He is smart and curious and wants to be a part of whatever his humans are doing, so would prefer a family that could be home with him more frequently than not. However, he will settle well on his own if he needs to and a long lasting chew or frozen treat, coupled with a few of his favorite toys and he settles just fine. He will thrive with an owner/family who can give him the affection and closeness he craves. He is a world class kisser and never misses an opportunity to let you know that he loves you. In the evenings, he will happily settle on the couch with you for cuddles and tummy rubs while you watch your favorite programs on TV.Maynard LOVES his walks more than just about anything, and two short walks a day are all he needs to stay happy. He is good on a leash and enjoys a leisurely pace so can stop and sniff the world as he pleases. He also has a hilarious independent streak and can fully entertain himself with strong chew toys, rolling on the couch, and playing solo games of catch. Balls and squeaky toys are his favorite to play with.With other dogs, Maynard is curious and social. If he spots a dog across the street, he may pause and bark, but he’s friendly and interested rather than reactive. He does not have experience with cats so a proper introduction would be needed. He has done well around older children (teens and upward) but may be a bit too excited around small children and accidentally knock them over.Maynard is such an easy-to-love dog and would love being part of a family. They are great pups and are good with other dogs, cats and people. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful. McCartney has been coming out of his shell. He can still be timid with new people but opens up more each week at events to strangers and at home each day. He likes chin and booty scratches. He will snuggle with you in time and gives the gentlest tiniest kisses. He loves other dogs and would do well a home with another dog to show him the ropes, but it is not a requirement; added patience will be needed if he's an only pup. He plays perfectly with dogs as well as independently, often found throwing the toys in the air to entertain himself. He is the ultimate stuffy killer but it's oh so fun to watch him enjoy the moment. He walks beautifully on leash, knows sit, has a good recall, is gentle when taking treats and trys hard to figure out what you are asking of him with a treat in hand. He is good in his kennel while the foster is at work, he will also go chill in there as well when he needs a break all on his own. He's doing great on potty training with only a few accidents here and there. He pays no attention to the cats in the home. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Rza pronounced (Rizza) is a 39lb spayed female who is about 5 years old and waiting to be your best friend! She is a wonderful companion dog - loving and devoted to her people. She loves cuddling on the couch and will sleep with you. Rza is just a charmer with extremely soft fur and a cute smooshy face and beautiful deep brown eyes! Rza is generally a pretty calm dog most of the time - and like many of us in the winter time, is a little "fluffy" right now from too many treats. Rza is fully potty trained and lets you know when she needs to go out with a couple special barks. She loves eating grass in the summer and relaxing in the sun, taking breaks to roll in the fresh smelly lawn. On colder days, Rza loves laying on her bed in front of the heating vent in the winter and playing in the snow. he likes being brushed and loves lick mats. She loves tug of war and fetch for about 10-15 minutes at a time, then she takes her ball away and chews on it. She is food motivated except on walks or when she is a little nervous. But oh, does she love walks! Rza's foster is working on her barking when she sees another dog on walks. She is very clumsy and will accidentally knock children over - so no small kids would be best! Rza came from living outdoors in North Dakota where she was attacked several times by packs of dogs twice her size. Because of this, she is dog selective and would prefer to be the only pup in the home - she won't be a dog you can take to a dog park or a brewery. However, she can play with single dogs her size (40 lbs) who are used to a rougher play style, but occasionally will become overstimulated so play should be supervised at all times. There's the chance that she may be able to live with an older similar sized calmer dog. Rza does have resource guarding with toys and food, which is another reason why she might be happier as a solo dog. Mandy is super smart, energetic, loves people, kids & other dogs. Mandy loves to play. She would do best in a house with energy and another dog to play with. She just learned how to "fetch"! Mandy would be a great agility or flyball dog. Mandy has a ton of energy, she is fast, and loves to jump. Mandy is 95% potty trained, sometimes just gets too excited and forgets to let me know she needs to go outside! We are working on ringing a bell to let me know she needs to go out. We have worked really hard on recall; Mandy will stop what she's doing and run to me when I call her name! We are currently working on leash training, heel, sit and touch. Mandy is in a crate when we are not home. Mandy is so eager to please! We have been bringing Mandy to outdoor festivals, outdoor patios at our fav restaurants and she does really well! Mandy just wants to join in ALL the fun and be part of the gang!
