Story
Meet Jackson 🐾 Jackson is a striking Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix born in 2017 with a big personality and an even bigger heart for the right person. He’s an intelligent, high-drive “alpha” type who thrives best as the only pet in the home, where he doesn’t have to compete for attention. Jackson can be the jealous type and prefers a calm, adult household without children, as busy environments can make him uneasy. He especially bonds well with women, who have a wonderfully calming effect on him and help him feel safe and secure. This loyal guy does best with an experienced dog owner who understands working breeds and can provide structure, consistency, and mental stimulation. In return, Jackson offers devotion, companionship, and a deep one-on-one bond that’s truly special. If you’re looking for a smart, loyal companion and can offer a quiet home where Jackson can be your one and only, he may be the perfect match for you. ************************************************ Fine Print: All dogs of NWMNAR are screened at the headquarters in Ada, Mn until they are vetted. They are then transferred to foster homes throughout MN and some into ND so they can get used to lifestyles with a family in a home. Adoption fee for an adult dog is $300 + Mn tax. Adoption fee for a dog over 3 years of age is $300 + Mn tax., pup/dog1 year to 3 years is $400 + Mn tax. Under 1 year of age $500 + Mn tax. Story
Stacy is a female Australian Cattle Dog mix born around October 2024. After lovingly raising her puppies in rescue, this sweet girl is now ready to find a forever home of her own. Stacy is extremely shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her gentle and loving personality begins to shine. She’s a sensitive pup who needs a calm, patient family willing to let her build confidence at her own pace. With time, kindness, and reassurance, Stacy becomes an affectionate companion who loves staying close to her foster mom. She gets along well with other dogs and her forever home should have a confident canine friend to help show her the ropes. Because of her timid nature, Stacy would do best in a quieter home and would likely be best with older children who can respect her space and gentle personality.  Stacy is potty trained, though she may have a few nervous tinkles when meeting new people or in unfamiliar situations. She is still gaining confidence on a leash and can be easily startled. When scared, she may back up, flatten herself to the ground, or try to hide. Her future family should be prepared to continue helping her build confidence with patience, encouragement, and positive experiences. She does great in a kennel and rides very well in the car. Watching Stacy gain confidence day by day has been incredibly rewarding. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion and are willing to give her the time she needs to come out of her shell, Stacy will reward you with so much love and trust.   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Did someone say Diva? Or I mean Nessa? That’s me! I was born 2/21/26 and I’m definitely queen bee in my litter. I don’t let anyone forget it. I know what I want and I do whatever I can to make sure I get my way. One of my favorite things to do is to wrestle with my siblings. Don’t get me wrong, I still love to cuddle with my human siblings though! While my foster mom is at work, I spend the days penned up with my siblings and to be honest, I can’t wait to have a kennel all to myself. I haven’t been able to ride in a car or use a leash, but I’m not afraid of anything so bring it on! I’m just starting to really work on house training and I'm catching on pretty quickly. I’m pretty great, I know. I’m so excited to meet you! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Meet Ziggy! 6 years old • 32 lbs • Australian Cattle Dog / Border Collie mix (with some German Shepherd, Beagle, and Lab in there too!) Ziggy is a smart, soulful, couch-loving companion who thrives with her people and forms deep bonds with the humans she trusts. Like many herding breeds, she takes her job of “keeping an eye on things” seriously — but once she decides you’re a friend, you’re in for a lifetime of loyalty, snuggles, and companionship. When new people arrive, Ziggy will announce herself with a bark or two, then quickly switch into friendly mode. After a proper sniff and hello, she’s eager to engage — often gently guiding your hand to her chest, where she loves extra scratches. Before you know it, she’s your new best friend on the couch. Why we love Ziggy: Incredibly smart and very trainable - she k nows tricks and has great recall indoors A wonderful companion who simply wants someone around, and loves cuddling on the couch or in bed! Loves car rides — short trips or long adventures. Ziggy e njoys hiking and exploring (she’s a fan of the North Shore!) Famous for her dramatic “old man” sighs Loves chew bones and has a beloved stuffed frog, but has  never destroyed anything in the house she shouldn't! Geo-trained with a hidden fence Comfortable being left alone for up to 6 hours Ziggy was adopted during COVID and has always had adults around during the day. While she initially seemed bonded to one person, she’s truly just happiest knowing someone is nearby. She does well with trusted adults, older kids, and even a house/dog sitter when her family is away. Ziggy is a herding-breed dog through and through and can be reactive to other dogs, especially on walks. Her bark can sound intense, but with consistent, positive training, she can sometimes ignore passing dogs when walked solo. Group walks with other dogs, however, increase her stress and reactivity. Ziggy  has also developed some resource guarding around food, toys, and favorite resting spots. With structure, space, and experienced handling, these behaviors are manageable, but Ziggy will do best as the only dog in the home. Because of her herding instincts, Ziggy is not a fit for homes with young children, as she may chase or nip at ankles. A home with adults only or older, dog-savvy kids, along with a fenced yard, are a requirement. Ziggy has not had any long-term experience with cats.  Ziggy is deeply loving, loyal, and ready to be someone’s whole world. In the right home — one that understands her intelligence, sensitivity, and need for structure — she will be an incredible, devoted companion who curls up beside you, sighs contentedly, and reminds you every day how special a bond with a dog can be.  If you're ready to open your heart and home to this loving companion, submit an interest form here:  https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com *Adoption fees range from $525-$650, depending on the individual animal* Follow us on Facebook & Instagram! https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue/ @RedemptionRoadRescueMN Ziggy is fully vetted: spayed, DHLPP vaccinated, rabies vaccinated, bordetella vaccinated, lyme vaccinated,  4DX/heartworm tested,  microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed.  *Ziggy does have allergies: she takes a Benadryl daily with morning meal and gets a shot of Cytopoint in fall and spring.* Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 2:20 pm

If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. From Sneaker's Foster mom: I have a never-ending list of wonderful things to say about Miss Sneakers! First and foremost, she is incredibly sweet and responds wonderfully to training. She’s not only treat-motivated, but also thrives on praise—which is so easy to give, because she’s truly a good girl. She’s completely potty trained and adapts well to both a house or apartment lifestyle. Sneakers already knows several commands: sit, lay down, off, wait, and—of course—“good girl.” She’s gentle with her toys and prefers stuffed animals over puzzle toys. Her favorite snacks are biscuits, bully sticks, and meat treats—though she’s not a fan of peanut butter. She gets plenty of exercise with 2–3 walks a day (plus some running!) to help burn off energy. Behavior & Socialization: Sneakers is considered reactive, meaning she gets nervous around new people and may bark to try and keep them away. But in the short time I’ve had her, she’s already shown amazing progress with consistent, positive exposure—especially in outdoor spaces like parks, where she can take things at her own pace. She simply needs time and patience to build trust. Once she does, she bonds deeply. ‍ Bonds quickly with women ‍ Slower to trust men Would do best in a home with older kids (she’s a little jumpy and sensitive about her tail) No cats due to prey drive (not officially tested) Best as the only dog—she’s shown nervous behavior around others Her Ideal Home: Sneakers needs a calm, structured home with patient humans who’ll give her space and support as she decompresses. Once she feels safe, she is the sweetest soul. She loves: Tummy rubs Hand-holding (yes, really!) Walks in the park Sunbathing Taking treats ever so gently She’s a total mama’s girl, and I know she’ll thrive in the right adoptive home—one that sees the loving, loyal dog she already is. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. Story
About Me Jasmin is a smart, playful 7-month-old Kelpie/Shepherd mix who packs a lot of personality into a perfectly medium-sized package! At about 35 pounds, she’s already close to her expected adult size — a great option for someone who loves the intelligence and personality of shepherd-type dogs but doesn’t necessarily want a large dog. This girl is bright, curious, and loves being part of whatever you’re doing. She has excellent leash manners and would happily join you for a walk, hop in the car for an adventure, or spend some time investigating the neighborhood wildlife. Squirrels and frogs are especially fascinating, according to Jasmin. And for a 7-month-old puppy, she already has some pretty impressive life skills! Jasmin is house trained, fully crate trained, knows sit, and sleeps quietly through the night. When bedtime rolls around, she happily heads into her crate and settles in until morning. She also loves playing ball and is currently working on that minor technicality called “bringing it back.” Jasmin is still a puppy, and sometimes her enthusiasm gets the better of her. When she’s excited, she can get jumpy and use her mouth during play, so her foster is helping her practice calmer greetings and good puppy manners. She’s a quick learner and making great progress, but because of that youthful exuberance, a home without small children will be the best fit for her right now. She’d love an adopter who will keep that smart brain busy with walks, play, training, and new experiences. A confident adult dog who enjoys playing could be a wonderful buddy and role model for her, too. Jasmin has so much going for her: she’s smart, affectionate, fun, already has the basics down, and is at a fantastic age to continue learning what life with her forever family is all about. If you’re looking for a medium-sized adventure buddy who can play hard, learn quickly, and then tuck herself into bed for the night, Jasmin might just be your girl. ---------- WHERE IS THIS PET LOCATED? The Rescue Crew is a foster-based rescue, which means all of our pets are cared for in homes throughout Minnesota.  Foster Home Pets: Meet & greets are scheduled after an approved adoption application Cats at The PURRfect Match Adoption Center (Andover, MN): Some cats may be available to meet during open hours Please visit our website for the most accurate information on this pet and next steps.
