From her foster: Peeps lives for snuggles—especially at bedtime—loves to play with her toys, and has an impressive talent for finishing her meals in record time. She’s doing great learning new skills like “sit” and “stay,” and she’s making solid progress on crate training. She also rides like a champ in the car and is always up for an outdoor adventure (especially if there’s a chance to dig!). She is a social butterfly who adores playing with other dogs and gets super excited around cats—sometimes a little too excited. She means well, but her energy can be a bit much for more chill or shy kitties. She hasn’t been around kids yet, but with her friendly and happy nature, we think she’d do great with respectful children. She’s full of love, joy, and tail wags, and she’s looking for a forever home that can match her zest for life—and provide plenty of belly rubs along the way!

Hi! My name is Ozzy and I am from Texas. From his foster: He loves taking naps, going for car rides, walks, or just hanging out with his humans. He is doing very well with potty training and crate training. From the vet team: After coming into rescue, it was discovered that I had a serious heart murmur. An echocardiogram with the University of Minnesota Cardiology determined that the cause of my murmur was 2 heart defects. PDA (Patent ductus arteriosus - a defect that causes the ductus arteriosus to not close properly at birth) and pulmonic stenosis (a narrowing of the pulmonic valve). I had heart surgery where a device was placed in my artery to close the hole caused by the PDA defect. My recheck echocardiogram performed in Feb 2025 showed that the device placed in my heart well placed and helping to regulate my conditions. I will not need further surgeries and the cardiologists expect me to live a very close to normal life. I will be on medications life long and they recommend annual echocardiograms along with annual wellness exams (until otherwise recommended) to ensure the device and medication plan is still compensating for my conditions well. Once me neuter is completed I will be ready to go to my forever home! Could that be you?

Hi! My name is Kiss and I am from Arkansas. Kiss is a very loving low key small puppy weighing just over 7 pounds. The best thing in her little life is to be cuddled and to be with you. Living up to her name she loves a kiss and wants lots of love from you. She takes a while to settle in her crate and may not be good in a home with shared walls because she yaps and whines when she goes in the crate. We are working on potty training when I take her outside on a strict schedule she will go potty. Otherwise she has used a puppy pad by the back door. She does a little whine when she needs to potty so that is a good sign for potty training. She is a healthy little girl and a nice calm personality does well with my resident dogs. Plays a little but would rather just chew on a nylon bone and be with you at your feet or being cuddled.
