Story
In early December, Yodi was found abandoned in Ramah, NM, at the cabins our spay & neuter clinic team were staying in.He was terrified of people & emaciated. It took an hour to convince him we were okay.Just as she was packing up to leave, our vet was able to squeeze him in for an examination and vaccinations. At this point he shut down completely, almost frozen with fear. With a NM health certificate in hand, we brought him home to Broomfield, CO to put meat on his bones, bolster his spirit & see if we could find this very sweet boy the perfect family. In the last few months he has gained 10 pounds and his personality has done a complete 180. He is super outgoing with people. He does take a minute to be comfortable with new dogs, but then becomes fast friends. He likes to "herd" all of his stuffies into one big pile.He has some crazy kangaroo skills, so will need a 6 ft. or taller solid fence & he'll need a dog buddy in his new home. He's still a pup, learning the ropes at about a year old.

Story
Rooster is a handsome one-year-old cattle dog mix with a sweet soul and a playful spirit. This lovable boy enjoys the simple things in life — relaxing beside you while you watch TV, soaking up attention from his people, and stretching his legs outside where he can run and explore. Like many cattle dogs, Rooster has an active side and would thrive with a family that enjoys an adventurous companion and can give him plenty of exercise and enrichment. Rooster is settling into foster care nicely and continues to show what a sweetheart he is. Because he’s still adjusting and learning to trust new people and environments, his foster recommends a patient adopter who will give him time to acclimate and feel secure in his new home. A home with a secure 6-foot fence is strongly recommended, and using a yard leash during the transition period will help set him up for success as he bonds with his forever family. If there’s another dog in the home, Rooster would benefit from a slow, thoughtful introduction. Rooster would thrive as a solo pup, in a more rural setting or a home with a privacy yard to decrease any anixety around doggos passing by. Rooster has all the makings of an incredibly loyal and devoted companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, active pup who’s equally happy cuddling on the couch and adventuring outdoors, Rooster may just be your perfect match! ##2722672##

Story
Charlie is a Mini Australian Shepherd born Aug 9, 2021. He is fully potty trained, high energy, intelligent, and best suited for a home with land and an experienced herding-dog owner who can give him structure and a job. Charlie is very slow to warm up to both people and other dogs and is not cat-friendly. He is extremely loyal once bonded and is a true “Velcro dog.” He can be very vocal with a loud, high-pitched bark and has anxiety/behavioral challenges that require patience and consistency. Vet visits are very stressful, so he is not currently up to date on vaccinations. We are looking for the right long-term placement and will take him back at any time if it is not a fit.

Story
Prince is a 2 year old mini aussie, he is super energetic and incredibly loving. He is as smart as a whip but also has a lot of the anxiety that comes with a pure bred aussie. The main reason I'm looking to rehome him is because he's really struggling to adapt to his new living situation. Ive recently moved into an apartment and hes constantly barking out of the windows and cant seem to stay calm outside of bedtime when there's obviously less going on. Ive been working with him on leash walking, re-crate training him, and overall just trying to get his confidence up. But he still continues to be anxious and stressed seemingly constantly. He also chases my partner's cat which is causing some more tension in the house. I believe prince would do best in a household with other dogs. Potentially multiple other dogs. With a large amount of space to run and play. He does have some sensitive stomach issues, which id be happy to explain.

Story
Prescott is a sweet and affectionate boy who loves his people deeply. He’s eager to please and thrives on gentle guidance and encouragement. Prescott would benefit from positive-reinforcement training to help build his confidence and show off just how wonderful he can be. He may do well with another friendly dog in the home, given a proper introduction. If you’re looking for a loving companion with a big heart, Prescott might be your perfect match.

Story
Pica is such a sweet girl! She loves everyone and likes to crawl into laps and give kisses! She follows her foster mom around the house and has learned to walk on a leash! She likes other dogs and is totally fine with cats - she even allows them to come up and give her kisses on her nose! She is only 24 pounds and is full grown. Pica has eyes that will amaze you and an attitude that will make you melt! She does have some energy, but loves dog beds (and cat beds) more than anything. She has lived a lifetime already, so her energy is good but she really just wants love more than anything. She is going to be an amazing dog!
