We are relocating and are reluctantly unable to bring our cherished pup with us. Starfire is a very sweet and affectionate girl, who’s estimated to be 1 year old. She came to us with a lot of anxiety and has really improved. We really have grown to love her, but really needs to be the only dog in the home, as she can get a bit snarky and territorial with other dogs. She has developed food aggression with our other dog and will snap at her over even the tiniest food wrapper. She is young and may continue to improve with the right environment and training, but I am just not able to provide it due to having to care for a disabled adult child and a an aging parent whose health has recently declined.Starfire loves adults and kids, enjoys walks, being outside with her humans, belly rubs and treats. We are working on potty training and she alerts to go out and will use potty pads inside, but doesn’t go outside for more than a few minutes without a human just yet, likely due to anxiety. She loves to be the center of attention. She is current on heartworm/flea prevention.
