Story
**THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING AND IS NOT A DOG IN THE EPIC PROGRAM**   Loki, or Mr. America as our vet calls him, is the coolest, sweetest pup!   As you can see from his photos, Loki has not always been treated well. Due to no fault of his own, he was chained from puppyhood to just last year, when his family finally surrendered him because they were moving. Lucky for Loki, he's an indoor pup now! He's regrown all of his sun bleached hair, has been potty trained, neutered, vaxxed, and has even been to the dentist to remove some of his teeth that were broken from when he would try to chew off his chain. He's come so far, learning to participate in life now instead of watching the world pass him by. He loves car rides, puppacinos, playing with his toys, and most importantly loves people. He would make an excellent companion for an active couple or single. Loki does not like cats. He gets along with most other dogs, but can be selective. Estimated to be around 7-8 years old, though still very energetic and enthusiastic (always smiling!) Please consider Loki if you're looking to spoil a loving, silly pup - we need to make up for Loki's lost years. He deserves it!      Please contact Jenny Chism at jenlchism4601@outlook.com / (806) 626-1173 if you are interested in knowing more or meeting Loki!  May 31, 2023, 9:21 am

Story
Lady is a total sweetheart looking for her forever family. She is BEAUTIFUL, likely an Australian Kelpie/Shepherd mix. 45lbs, spayed, up to date on shots. She was very scared in the shelter and is quite timid/shy but very loyal to her people. She is happiest lounging near you either in the yard or on the couch. She is fostered with two other dogs and apathetic to other animals. She has not been cat or kid tested but we are thinking a quieter home will be great match for her. She can get anxious when separated too long from her people so we don't recommend leaving or crating her for longer periods of time. Reach out with any questions! You can apply to adopt on Salvaged Souls Pet Rescue website: https://www.jotform.com/form/91504672191153

Story
Some pets are in the Shelter and others in Foster homes. Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email latkinson@eulesstx.gov  and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com       Meet Titus!  We all love this cute and funny one year old.  He loves to play in the play yard pool, so would be a great dog to take to the lake or go swimming.   He also enjoys playing with other dogs and is very friendly with all people. He might be a little energetic for toddlers, but should do fine with elementary age kids and older.  Titus is very smart and eager to learn.  He would be an excellent dog for someone wanting to train.   His black cost is very shiny and he is a very handsome boy.  We think he is a Kelpie cattle dog/Labrador mix, but whatever breed, he is very special. If you would like to meet him, please email steffeniegaprescue@gmail.comMay 31, 2023, 7:02 pm

Story
Dahlia is a loving, loyal, and very goofy girl. She is always down to play with her favorite toys, a racquet ball or tennis ball, squeaky stuffed animals or a cardboard box, she just loves to play with you. She also loves to run so a yard is a must. At night after a long walk, she loves to cuddle on the couch and sleep until it’s time for bed. Dahlia was adopted July 2022 and was a little over a year old, so i think her birthday is about June 2021. She is anxious around other dogs so would need to be the only one in the house, but I think with time and training, it’s fixable. She was attacked so she is skeptical of unfamiliar dogs. She has never been around a cat so i’m not sure how she would react around them. As for children, smaller children make her nervous since they’re so close to her face and she can get a little over excited and jumpy so it’s best to have older kids in a house. Dahlia now knows sit, down, stay(sometimes), still learning “come” but she loves learning. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Dahlia is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.May 30, 2023, 10:39 pm

Story
Cocoa is a 10 year old Australian Kelpie. She came into our family when she was 2 years old from a local city shelter. She is a loving dog who loves to kiss and snuggle and is also a good guard dog. She loves to swim and can definitely be described as faithful-to-owner. I selected behavioral issues as to why she needs a new home though that can be misleading. I live in a house that is divided in two and her barking is problematic given the space in which she lives

Story
Meet Keeley, Keeley is a 3-4 year old female Australian Kelpie mix. We do not know what else she is mixed with. Keeley was found on the streets, and was picked up by a family and then rehomed to us. Keeley is high energy, good with kids, good with big dogs, smart and trainable. Keeley was abused, so you cannot raise your voice at her or around her or she will get scared and snap. Due to her being a street dog, Keeley has behavioral issues and will need an experienced owner. She is food aggressive and guards chew bones and she can get jealous of other dogs. Keeley is not good with small dogs. Regardless of her problems, keeley is a very smart and loving dog she loves people and loves to give kisses and talk to you. She loves to play with kids and big dogs. Keeley is a very sweet dog, but we unfortunately do not have the time to help her with her issues. We do know she can be trained out of her issues. We love keeley and want to find a good home for her. Keeley sleeps in a crate.
