Kiwi is an amazing pup! We are needing to find her a new home due to incompatibility with an elderly member of our home and by no real fault of her own. Kiwi is a fast learner and will adapt to a new home quickly.We love her very much and are committed to finding her a good home.She sleeps well out-of-crate, on a dog bed in our personal room but may want a crate if not kept close by. We have not tried keeping her crated as there has been no need to. She is house-trained and almost fully trained on chewing only toys/bones of her own. Loves running, great exercise partner.Has not yet been spayed.We will send her to her new home with all toys, bones, harness and food that she has available

Izzy is seven-months-old and weighs about 25 lbs. We have tried to determine what her breed mix is, and we have had several incorrect guesses along the way. Now, our best guess is that Izzy is an Australian Kelpie mix. Izzy and her sister were dumped outside the Sheriff's office, and then made their way to Humane Tomorrow, so we just aren't sure about her breed mix. We are guessing she may not weigh more than 40 lbs when full grown. We may not be sure about her breed mix, but we are positive that Izzy is a fun, energetic, affectionate puppy. She has excellent athletic skills, and would probably excel at agility training, fly ball, frisbee catching, or all of the above! Izzy would also be very happy just running zoomies in the backyard, or going for a walk, or playing with her toys. She can entertain herself by tossing a ball in the air, then running to retrieve it. She gets along and plays with the other dogs in her foster home, but she would be fine as an only dog, as long as she gets enough exercise and play time.. Izzy is also happy and content to hang out with her family. She loves people and cuddling in their lap or curled up beside them. Ellie started out with us as a young pup. She was adopted out, only to be dumped at the shelter at another state. From what we have gathered from the shelter accompanied with our own experience with her, it’s because she needs a home without other dogs. Huey is young and therefore has a lot of energy. He loves attention and to be kept busy. Huey is active, smart, and loves kids and other dogs. He sees every new face as a potential playmate. He would do best in a home with another play mate or an active family. At the facility he has staff and volunteers that have spent extra time with him in training, teaching commands and helping him take out all his pent-up energy. Huey is always ready for a walk, run, hike or a training session. Extremely treat motivated and very focused of what`s being asked of him to do. Huey still needs more training, but he is an amazing dog. He loves to please his person and would love to have a job. His perfect home would be one with one or two people that are very active and super involved in his training or a family that has the time to take him on walks and keep his mind and body active. He won`t do well in a house that wants a couch potato dog or calm dog. He needs stimulation to be calm afterwards. He was born in Jan 2020 and is located at the rescue. We recently started fostering Kash, and are trying to find him his forever home. Kash is a 10-year-old, 37lb Australian Kelpie mix who came to us after a heartbreaking situation — the dog he had lived peacefully with for years suddenly became aggressive towards him, and his mom made the incredibly tough choice to rehome him so he could be safe. Kash is a very sweet boy. He’s potty trained, walks well on a leash, calm in the car, and content staying home alone. He’s independent but loves affection, and he’s been wonderful with our dogs — even our rambunctious 1-year-old heeler puppy. You may notice some wounds in the photos from where he was attacked, those are now fully healed. Kash deserves a loving home for his golden years. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-maintenance companion, Kash might be your guy!

This is Millie. Unfortunately, we desperately need to find a new home for her. She has bitten my mother in the past but she will only bite when trying to brush her butt. She does not work well with cats. We have another dog that she is very good with. I believe she needs a home where she will be kept busy. She has separation anxiety and gets restless if she can’t be with her person. I think if she has a home with a lot of space and stuff to keep her busy, she will thrive.
