Meet Maya! Maya is an 8-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with plenty of energy and a big heart. She loves going on walks and enjoys playing with our other dog, Ace. Around our baby and toddler, she's patient and gentle, making her a wonderful family companion. We rescued Maya 7 years ago, and she's been a cherished part of our family ever since. Unfortunately, with two young children and some allergies in the household, we aren't able to give Maya and Ace the attention they deserve. We're hoping to find a loving home for Maya-either on her own or together with Ace. Maya does have a playful, adventurous side and can be an escape artist, so she does best when kept in a secure space at night or while you're away. To help with her transition, we're happy to provide her sturdy steel crate that she's comfortable in. Maya is a sweet, loyal dog who thrives with love, playtime, and companionship. She'll make a wonderful addition to the right home!

Bailey is an affectionate, active 9-year-old, about 25 lbs., and naturally long-haired. She’s a fun mix of Aussie Shepherd, Border Collie, Cocker Spaniel, Dachshund, Pit Bull Terrier, and Supermutt. She has a bit of “alpha-tude,” so she needs a child-free, pet-free home where she can feel fully safe. Her leash reactivity is minimal and limited to reactive dogs, cats, or wildlife. She knows her basic commands but isn’t perfectly consistent. She loves walks (a mile or more), exploring, sniffing, chasing lizards, and cozy naps. She’s great on hikes and has even done a 10-miler. We adore her, but she is overwhelmed with our toddler and had a nipping incident with him. She deserves a calm home where she can relax, explore, and soak up all the love.

I need to re-home my handsome 4-year-old, Jax. He has basic command, crate, and potty training and we have had a couple of great years of running, walking, and hiking in rural Vermont. He has had fantastic vet care and a Farmers Dog diet. After driving him to the West Coast, I found that my travel, long hours, and city life are not compatible with his need for companionship and exercise. He is half mini-Aussie, quarter Beagle, quarter Bulldog rescue, and is at his happiest running on leash, racing dogs in a park, and snuggling with anyone.
