Please contact Tanya (tanya@ppnk.org) for more information about this pet.Application is required - Please go to www.ppnk.orgAdoption fee '300Remi is a mini aussie weighing only 30lbs. She is about 2-3 yrs old. She gets along with all dogs but does have a high prey drive so small fluffy dogs and cats would not be good housemates. All our animals receive professional veterinary attention including spay/neuter, testing, vaccination, deworming, food and shelter. We only rescue from Animal Control and cannot accept lost, hurt or unwanted pets from individuals.  We are a licensed non-profit no-kill shelter.September 15, 2025, 11:53 am

Story
Meet Grizelda, a stunning blend of Miniature Australian Shepherd and Catahoula Leopard Dog whose beauty is matched only by her devotion. A true family-oriented girl, Grizelda is the ultimate "welcome home" committee; the way she greets you will never get old, as she immediately wiggles onto her back with a huge smile to show you exactly how much she missed you. While she can be a little shy and timid at first—warming up to women a bit faster than men—it doesn’t take long for her sweet nature to shine through. She thrives on a routine of snacks (especially her favorites: apples and cantaloupe!), play, and heavy cuddle sessions. Grizelda is a "velcro dog" who loves to be near her people, often curling up by your feet or burrowing into her cherished blankets, which are a must-have for this girl who isn't a fan of the cold! Story
Meet Hilda, a young pup who is the perfect blend of spunk and total sweetheart. She is a quiet, loyal companion who doesn't just want a home—she craves a best friend to shower with hugs. While she has plenty of speed for sprinting around the yard or hiking through the woods, she is incredibly well-mannered on the leash, preferring to walk directly behind your heels rather than pulling ahead. Hilda is a social butterfly who gets along famously with other dogs and likes every person she meets with time. Because she is so eager to please and thrives on companionship, she’s looking for a family where she won’t be left alone all day—whether that means a playful canine sibling to keep her company or a human who is home often. Whether she’s snooping for treats, learning new commands, or snuggling up in your bed at night, Hilda’s sweet nature and unwavering loyalty will make her the ultimate addition to a loving home. Story
Goose is a 1.5 year old Australian Shepherd and Border Collie mix. We received him from a friend who trains dogs. He knows the commands Sit, Stay, Wait, Down (lay down), Come, Off (get off furniture or people), and Go to Bed. He is crate trained, house broken, leash trained, and has been trained not to get on the couch or bed. He is a sweet friendly dog who loves activity and people. Goose needs a family with older children that can play and run around with him or a family that is very active and willing to take him along for the ride! He loves a great game of fetch and to go on runs or walks.

Story
I got my pet from an accidental pregnancy. She is 1 years old and was born Dec 1st 2024. I’m looking for a new home with a loving energetic owner. Quinn is energetic, playful, very affectionate, and silly. She is crate trained and is potty trained as well. My mental health does not allow me to be as energetic as I would like to be for her and I do not have suitable living conditions for her at this moment. That is the reason why I have to re home her to give her the life she desperately deserves.

Story
Loyal and loving companionMeet Piper – Sweet, Smart & Ready for Her Forever Home Piper is a loving, 5-year-old mixed-breed girl weighing 50 pounds, and she's looking for her forever family. Rescued after being abandoned at a dog park in poor condition, Piper has come a long way—blossoming into a loyal, affectionate, and incredibly smart companion. Piper has completed basic obedience training and we are now working on leash training. She knows all the essentials: sit, stay, lay down, leave it, and she has excellent recall. She's also fully potty trained and patiently sits while you place her food bowl down waits for a release command before eating—what a good girl! While Piper can be a little shy at first, she warms up quickly to new people in a home setting. Piper is a mix bread girl but with a personality of an Australian Shepherd or Cattle Dog smart, loyal, and full of heart. Piper would do best in a home without cats, she has done well with older kids. If you're looking for a devoted adventure buddy and a snuggle partner who will reward your patience with endless affection, Piper is your girl.  Check out Piper's videos: https://youtu.be/bcT5b2m90ek https://youtu.be/GwoQpSCIRSI For more videos and photos for Piper check out her social media on TikTok, YouTube and instagram @PawsNthegarden Age: 5 years old     Weight: 50 lbs   Temperament: Good with dogs and kids.   Training: Crate-trained, house trained, knows commands Vetting: Spayed, up to date on vaccines, HW negative For questions about Piper, please email: morgan7728@gmail.com  &#226&#128&#139 To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself.   January 15, 2026, 8:21 am
