River is a 3 year old neutered purebred Aussie. He has lived his entire life outdoors, He suffered a gunshot injury after he escaped his yard. He is perfectly healthy now but has a minor limp. He gets along with other dogs. We are not sure about kids and cats although he was fine with the 1 year old living in the home. Casey is a 1yr old Black Tri Australian Shepherd, he is a vibrant happy boy. Casey is dog/human friendly, cat friendly as well though if they run - he thinks it's play, and chases. He is kennel trained, house trained, and potty trained. He doesn't love loud storms or fireworks, but loves to cuddle up with his people and hang out. He's a high energy boy, so having a playful dog companion in the home would be most ideal, otherwise ensuring he gets a lot of mental & physical enrichment will be the way to go for him. Casey is a very intelligent dog who takes to training super easily! He'd make someone a great sport dog should they be so inclined. ##2120908##

Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Villa Rica, GA Meet Theo! He is an 3 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 45 lbs. He is neutered and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Theo is fearful of strangers! He is good with kids and dogs! He hasn’t been tested around cats. Theo is given trazodone when he is anxious. He herded one of the owner’s friends and snipped her calf. He also jumped on and nipped a delivery driver after the owner accidentally opened the door. The current owner is surrendering him because he is herding the other people in the home. The other people are no longer comfortable having him there. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Theo, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Theo. She is microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention, but isn’t spayed. Ursula is good with older children, cats, and dogs! She hasn’t been tested around younger children. She was found as a stray, but her owner was never found. Ursula can be the alpha when around other dogs. She is housebroken and crate-trained. The current owner is surrendering her because they already have dogs and a cat. They are also expecting a new baby. She needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! Goose needs a family with older children that can play and run around with him or a family that is very active and willing to take him along for the ride!
