Story
Edi is a 6-year-old, 45lb Australian Shepherd with a heart as big as her beautiful, soulful eyes. She spent the first years of her life as a breeder dog in a puppy mill, never knowing kindness, comfort, or love. Now, as a survivor, she is slowly learning what it means to be safe.
Shy and skittish, Edi still finds the world a little overwhelming, but every small step she takes is a victory. Loud noises and sudden movements startle her, but gentle voices and patient hands help her feel a little braver each day. She finds comfort in quiet moments, soft blankets, and the presence of those who respect her need for space.
Though her trust is fragile, her spirit is strong. With time, love, and understanding, Edi is discovering that life can be more than just survival—it can be filled with warmth, care, and even joy.
Edi is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $275.00.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week.
