Story
Juno is a 1½ year old Australian Shepherd mix. She is a bit shy at first but give her a few minutes and she will be cuddling in your arms. Juno would love to accompany you on walks and hiking. Her favorite thing in the world is playing in water. Juno tried apartment living, but it didn’t suit her. This happy, active girl would love to live in a home with a fenced yard where she can romp and play. She is a happy girl who gets along well with other dogs and with cats. She loves people and would do well with kids eight and older. Juno loves to sleep on the bed with you but she will sleep quietly in her crate. She is housetrained. She has been spayed, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and has been microchipped. Story
Meet Tyler! Tyler is a sweet 8-year-old Australian Shepherd who is very characteristic of his breed. Tyler is nervous of men and dogs when they're in his home, so he has his heart set on finding a mom or moms to have to himself! He is great meeting all dogs and people out and about on hikes and walks, but in his own home, he would love to be a mama's boy. Tyler is an active guy who is good on leash, and loves hiking, frisbee and fetch. He is a great mix of active and chill. He needs a focused play session daily, but then is happy to hang out and chew his toys! He does well having the run of the house when you are out. He would love a yard as he is a sunbather! He does great at doggie daycare and at dog parks as well. Frisbee and swimming are his favorite activities but he loves being active and doing whatever you are doing. He is a snuggler and loves being next to you on the couch or bed! Tyler's ideal home as an only dog. He is wary of strangers coming into the house and will need some help being told it's okay to let friends in the home. Tyler is a sweet, loving guy who is ready to be someone's best buddy! Tyler has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped. If you're interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application on our website (uaaf.org). For more information, please text Megan at (801) 703-0639, or email UAAFinfo@gmail.com.

Story
Hi! My name is Cisco (short for Francisco) and I am a Aussie x red heeler mix pup. As far as herding puppies go, I'm pretty laid back. But, I'm definitely no couch potato! I love to play and wrestle with my foster brothers. And, I am really good at taking cues from them, when my puppy antics have become a little too much. My foster mom describes me as smart, athletic, fun and supper cuddly. I'm a social butterfly. I love to meet and play with the neighborhood kids that come to visit me and my brother. I would do well in a home with other dogs and older, dog-savvy kids. I have never met cats; but, because of my herding dog heritage, I would probably want to chase them. My ideal home would be one with a fenced yard to keep me safe while I play and an active family who will take me on long walks and hikes or other outdoor adventures on the weekends. I am crate-trained, about 95% house-broken and up-to-date on my vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact kathie@herdinghaven.org

Story
HI! My name is Sofia and I am 2-3 yr old female Aussie mix. I have had a bit of a "ruff" start in life-- 3 homes in less than 3 years all due to no fault of my own. My previous owners just couldn't commit to me and have truly failed me. I am a little shy when I first meet you, but I warm up quickly and then am the typical Aussie velcro dog. Where you go, I will follow! I am very sweet and have a moderate energy level-- a daily walk and lots of snuggles on the couch is all I need to live my best life! Children make me very nervous, so a home without kids s a must for me. I can be a little selective when it comes to my doggy friends. I don't like dogs that come on too strong or get in my face. Older, more mellow dogs are OK. I am not a fan of cats, so a furever home that is feline free is a must. I am house-broken, crate-trained, spayed and up-to-date on my vaccinations. Story
Hi! My name is Gilbert and I am young (6-8 month) old mini Australian shepherd. I was picked up as a stray by a rural Utah shelter and no one came to claim me, which I really can't understand because I'm very fluffy and cute! I can be shy when you first meet me and it takes me awhile to warm up to new people. But, once I feel comfortable with you, I really enjoy getting pets and cuddles. With dogs its a completely different story. I LOVE other dogs. In fact, other dogs really help me with my confidence and make me feel more comfortable around people. For these reasons, I absolutely need to have at least one other playful, friendly dog in my furever home (more would be even better). I love to play and run around the yard and act like a silly goofball with my four-legged foster brother and sister. I am still learning not to be afraid of the leash; so a fully fenced back yard is a necessity in my furever home. My potty training is going pretty well, and I sleep through the night in the crate with my foster brother who is my very best friend. Small/young kids scare me with their loud noises and fast movements, so a home with no kids or older (>10 yr), dog savvy kids would be best. I am neutered and up-to-date on my vaccinations. Story
Hi! My name is Thumper (d/t my large rabbit like ears!) and I am a male Aussie mix puppy. I was picked up by animal control at the bottom of Weber Canyon at just 10 weeks of age... dumped like a piece of trash. Luckily, Herding Haven rescued me and I am not in a foster home waiting patiently for my furever home. I am a happy, friendly social, playful pup. My favorite things to do are to play with my foster brothers and sisters, go for walks, chew sticks and eat! I LOVE food! I am a smart boy and would excel in puppy training classes. I am house-broken, crate-trained and walk really well on a leash. I'm neutered and up-to-date on my vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact kathie@herdinghaven.org

Story
Hi! My name is Nedder (Ned) and I am a male Aussie x German Shepherd mix pup. I was rescued by Herding Haven with my sisters (Dusty and Lucky). I am the most laid back of my siblings (well, relatively speaking...I am after all a puppy!). Unlike my sister Dusty who is always "game on", I like to take in a situation before I "jump in". I'm smart and really love to learn (especially if I get yummy rewards). I already know how to "sit" and come to my name. I am crate-trained, 75% house-trained, and learning to walk on a leash. I'm a cuddly boy and will jump into your lap whenever you sit down. I respect the older dogs in my foster home and love to play with the younger ones. I am still a bit of a mouthy puppy, so a home without toddlers would be best. Older (> 8 yr) kids would be OK. I have never met a cat, so I'm not sure how I would do with one of those. I am up-to-date on my vaccinations and will come with a discount for my neuter. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact kathie@herdinghaven.org
