Story
Drax loves to play and chase a ball. His favorite pastime is chasing the ball into the water and retrieving it. He enjoys paddleboarding as long as the water isn’t choppy. Drax loves to swim and enjoys it when his human jumps in with him. He is very loyal and will follow his favorite person from room to room. He loves quality time and doesn’t like big crowds. He enjoys making new human friends, but only after he gets to know the person. Drax knows a few commands. He understands to sit, roll, potty, paw, leave it, drop it, stay, and nose. He isn’t perfect so I want to say he listens 85% of the time. Drax can be a little anxious to step outside if there is a busy loud street or a big crowd. However, he can get through it with enough encouragement. He enjoys car rides, but he will hide by the passenger floor if he sees bicycles. Drax is house broken and trained to potty outside. However, with his inherent anxiety, his potty walks are short. Which is why he can hold for 12hrs.

Story
Australian Shepherd/ Lab is the closest breed we can guess on her. Sorry we don't have good photos of sweet Sally. She was in foster in Texas since a puppy! She is totally trained with playing with a playgroup of dogs several times/day. Finally her turn at about 2 years to be adopted. ! House and potty trained!!! woof woof. Super affectionate sweet loving dog. She is a little shy at first, but opens up quickly. Has done great with other all other dogs even young puppies when done with proper introductions. She is with a rescue that is friends of Lufkin TX Kurth Memorial Animal Shelter friends. loving sweet sweet pup t is nearly impossible to say the breeds but her brother did have some Great Pyrenees in his DNA test. All of her siblings were adopted as puppies, its long been Sally's time to find her FOREVER home. https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application/ If interested we would have you speak with her rescuer. Many dogs are impossible to say the breeds but it is anyone's guess. As we know, mutts statistically speaking will live longer and have less vet bills!. All of our Lufkin Kurth Texas dogs were hand selected and are literally their favorites. Everyone who has adopted adores their dogs. She will totally win you over. , Please do apply!!! All our dogs are spay/neutered, current on DHPP and rabies shots, microchipped, tested hw negative, so all of that is done. Our adoptions include professional dog rescue transport to WA and health certificates (vet visit just prior to coming to WA). Any questions, please email us at shaynesrescue@gmail.com Best to include your phone number and good times to call too!

Story
We do not know his exact weight. Great with dogs, cats and poeple Sadly, so many great dogs are in TX :( and so many are pts or die homeless alone. Scout is likely 1.5 - 2 yrs of age. We aren't 100% certain but he is said to be POTTY TRAINED. Cat and dog tested and did great... loves everyone. If you’re looking for a kind hearted dog. this is what the shelter volunteers say about him, his tail wagging tail, bright eyes, and constant happy grin, He’s always ready to share love and joy. 💙 Great with other dogs, does well with kids, and is even friendly with cats — making him a wonderful fit for almost any home. Scout is definitely the total package and is patiently waiting for someone to choose him and give him the forever family he deserves" This is the link to apply to adopt. https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application/ Currently ALL dogs we have posted from Lufkin-Kurth Texas are not only human and dog friendly but cat friendly too! Titan we are not sure about cats but the other ones like Scout YES Many dogs are impossible to say the breeds but it is anyone's guess. Story
Meet adorable and loving Jude. He was rescued from the Avenal animal shelter in CA, where he spent an agonizing nine months-over 274 days-locked away. At just six months old, he faced a year of confinement that could be likened to seven years in human terms. The boredom and distress he experienced are unimaginable. Now that Jude is out of the shelter, he is learning and adapting, but he has a long way to go. He has been doing so great at training and you can definitely see such wonderful results from the training program! We’ve seen amazing progress at the training facility. He is now looking for his forever home or foster. is done with his training and doing so well! He was in a program for about 60 days and has proven to be ready for a foster or adoptive home. Trainers are able to give some sessions to show what he has learned! He would love to be in his new home for the new year. Jude is 1.5 years old, neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Jude is currently still in San Jose but plans to transport as soon as we have a foster or adopter. Jude is VERY dog friendly and his adoption includes one on one training sessions with you. He would do best with older children but is good with people and has learned to be open to his new surroundings. Jude walks well on a leash, is house trained and he can’t wait to meet you! Jude is a tall handsome boy that just need a chance. Jude has graduated his training program and looking for a great home. Please apply so we can help this boy stay on his training routine and make your life better! Please contact Priscilla at packlyferescue@yahoo.com.
