We found Onyx Obsidian on the street when he was a baby. After seeing if he belonged to anyone we took him home ,& have been investing in making sure he’s healthy. (he’s 3yrs, 1/18/23) Once comfortable we noticed he has bad separation anxiety, to where he becomes quite stressed. My career causes for me to travel too often for him to be as active as he needs, & at 1st that was our obstacle. However, Oct 2024-April 2025 I wasn't able to walk after being in a car accident; & that hindered the progress we made in his routine. He’s such a sweet boy, protective, & actually asks like a cat; which always makes me laugh. His fun facts: he’ll lay next to you when you’re crying, he's very athletic, &all he wants is someone to give him attention/cuddles. In a new home I want: someone who will keep him SAFE/STABLE, a home w/ a fenced in backyard for him to play(run freely 20+ mins), & if you have children/friendly fur babies even better as he's learning social skills. (will provide crate/safe toys)

Meet sweet and loving bonded pair, Zandra (brindle) and Stella (lighter face)! These sisters came to BarkVille Dog Rescue after they were both abandoned in an apartment. They have both adjusted well to life in their loving foster home, but can be timid and uncertain at times. Once they settle in and get to know you, both are very loving and have great personalities. Loud noises can make both Zandra and Stella a little nervous, so a home with older (or no) kids would be preferred. Zandra is a brindle-colored terrier mix. She is a mature girl, who is estimated to be around 8yr old, and weighs 43lbs. Zandra loves to play in her fenced yard, is treat motivated, and is eager to please. She is crate trained, perfectly house trained, and has a medium energy level. Although she always has a serious look on her face, don&#39t let it fool you - Zandra is very loving and sweet! Stella is a Beagle/Hound mix, is estimated to be around 5yr old, and weighs 40lbs. She loves to run around her fenced yard with her sister Zandra, is very food motivated, and is overall a sweet girl. All our dogs are spayed/neutered and fully vetted. Senior dogs receive extra bloodwork and we try to do dental cleanings on any dogs that need them. Most of the dogs in our care are crate-trained and cat tested. We test with kids when we can. Our process can seem involved and long - we appreciate your patience. Adopting a dog is not like buying a candy bar in the checkout lane; it should never be a last-minute decision or one that is not fully thought out. ADOPT MEJuniper is a lovable 2 year old beagle-dachshund mix with a sweet disposition and lots of brown and black freckles all over. Though shy when she initially meets someone new, she quickly warms up and is eager to roll over for belly rubs every chance she gets. On walks, she will keep close to you and follow your lead. At home, she’s happy to curl up in her bed or keep you company. She doesn’t beg, takes treats gently, and enjoys following the lead of her older foster sister. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect pup.” Juniper needs to be in a quieter home, without young children. She does have a bit of separation anxiety and does not care to be restricted access.
