Story
Hello, I'm Daisy! I'm a curious and playful pup, always up for an adventure. My favorite things include making new friends, both human and canine, and exploring all the exciting smells and sounds the world has to offer. I'm a friendly and social butterfly, and I love everyone I meet! My story starts on a busy road, where I was found by some kind people. They took me to a wonderful place called a shelter, where I've been cared for and loved. I'm so grateful for all the help I've received, and I can't wait to find my forever family. I'm a quick learner and almost house-trained. I am learning to walk on a leash, and I'm also crate-trained, which makes me a very good girl! I'm still a young puppy, about four months old, so I'm full of energy and ready for all the fun and love that life has to offer. I will be a medium-sized dog when fully grown, so I'm the perfect size for all sorts of adventures! I'm up-to-date on all my vaccines, and I'll be spayed soon, which just means I'm ready to find my forever home. If you're looking for a playful and loving companion, I'm your girl! I promise to bring joy and happiness to your life and to always be your loyal friend. So, what are you waiting for? Please fill out an adoption application at www.alcovypet.org to meet Daisy !

Story
Lily is a 5 year old beagle mix. She lost her home when the owners left her behind. We got Lily and got her completely vetted. Lily is a very sweet girl and at first can be shy until she gets to you. Lily came to us very sick. We thought Lily had a UTI but it turns out she had a huge bladder stone. Lily has since had surgery & will need to eat urinary specialty food the rest of her life. Lily will need a commitment to feed her & not let her eat any other food.  Lily is a very sweet girl who loves to play with smaller dogs.  If you would like to meet Lily, please fill out an on line adoption application at www.alcovypet.org  Alcovy's Beagles require a secure fenced-in yard.  Our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines, up to date on heart-worm preventative and flea preventative and micro-chipped. If interested in adoption, please complete an online application on Alcovy Pet Rescue's website at www.alcovypet.com. You must have a vet reference to adopt. We verify the care of past/current pets. Applications without a vet reference will not be approved for adoption. Our goal is to have the very best home for all our dogs and cats and therefore we reserve the right to approve or deny an application based on what we determine is in the pet's best interest. If interested in adoption, please complete an online application on Alcovy Pet Rescue's website at www.alcovypet.com.  You must have a vet reference to adopt.  We verify the care of past/current pets.  Applications without a vet reference will not be approved for adoption. Story
Meet Benny Jacks!  Hello there! My name is Benny Jacks, and I'm an adorable 8-year-old Beagle/Corgi mix (DOB: 03/22/2018). I may be a mature gentleman, but don't let my age fool you—I still have plenty of love, personality, and playfulness to share! I came into rescue with my little brother, Boomer Jacks, a 5-year-old Beagle/Basset mix. We've been together our entire lives and recently lost the only home and family we've ever known. We are incredibly bonded and would love nothing more than to find a forever family willing to keep us together. We're the perfect pair! We:  Sleep in our crates side-by-side  Share food and water bowls  Sunbathe together  Snuggle in our humans' bed at night  Simply enjoy spending every moment together While Boomer is a little more laid-back, I'm the outgoing one of the duo! I love being part of whatever my people are doing and enjoy getting attention and affection from everyone I meet. One of my favorite pastimes is entertaining myself with plush toys—especially the ones with squeakers! Give me a soft toy that squeaks, and I'm one happy boy. I'm also a very good house guest! I:  I'm house-trained and crate-trained  Have had no accidents in the house or crate  Will let you know when I need to go outside  Love spending time with my humans I do take daily medication for allergies, which helps keep me feeling my best. My favorite things include:  Sunbathing with Boomer  Playing with plush squeaky toys  Going for walks  Snuggling and getting belly rubs  Spending time with my family We don't bark much, but we may get excited when our people come home or when we're first left alone. And, being hounds, we occasionally enjoy showing off our musical talents with a little baying and howling! Boomer and I have already lost so much, and our biggest wish is to stay together as we begin our next chapter. Everyone says we're just like having one dog because we're so easygoing and devoted to each other. Could you open your heart and home to two sweet boys looking for a second chance? If you'd like to meet me—and hopefully my brother Boomer too—please submit an adoption application today. We can't wait to find our forever family! An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          June 29, 2026, 11:28 am
