Story
Kevin is a very affectionate 2 and a half year old purebred Beagle with papers from the American Kennel Society who would do best with a family with a set routine and children with an active lifestyle. He is house and crate trained and loves to go for walks and playing with his toys. The crate would be provided as well as his Peddleton sweater and collar, several toys, crate, and bed. He loves peanut butter in his Kong and knows when it is time to play and when it is time to relax. We love him very much, but due to long work hours, we cannot provide him with the attention he needs and deserves. He loves people (especially kids!) and other dogs and his very social but also loves to snuggle on the couch and hang by himself after a long day at the dog park.

Story
Meet Peaches! This beautiful beagle mix is on the search for her forever home! She is estimated to be about 1 years old and 22lbs. She is fully of that fun puppy energy and always looking to be in the mix of adventure. She loves everyone she meets and gets along well with other dogs. She has had much structure in her young life so she will need some work with potty training and walking on leash. She’s a typical beagle with having that loud howl! When she’s excited, you’ll know! Adopt this beautiful girl today! Apply on our website! www.aplaceforace.org

Story
Mabel came in with Melody and Mickey. Her Virginia fosters says she's easy-going and has moderate energy. She loves to get her belly rubbed and lay in the sun and be where you are. She's very quiet for a Beagle, walks well on a leash ( does not need long walks), and is doing well wth crate-traning. She does not need another dog, although she’s fine with other dogs around, but has no interest in playing with them yet. Melody is about 4 yrs old and weighs about 20 lbs. Arriving in late February. Story
Mikey is a happy, energetic little beagle who lived in a dreary situation with Melody and Mabel. He's doing great in his foster home and loves doing zoomies and playing with the other dog there. Mikey can be tentative around new people and loud noises, but he's gaining confidence. He's more confident around other dogs than people and would do best with another dog in the home. Mikey is good on the leash and crates well. He's not a big snuggler, but that might come. He does seem to enjoy the company of people, a pat on the head, and being carried. Mikey is about 4 yrs old and weighs about 19 lbs. If you’d like to apply to adopt, please submit an application using the link below. Story
Melody is a lively, affectionate Beagle who came to us with Mikey and Melody. Her foster in Virginia says that she is a joy to have around as she gets comfortable with living in his home and with his Jack Russell. Melody enjoys her walks, does well on leash, and likes to nap in the sun. In a new setting, a structured routine is reassuring for her and will help her settle in. She does enjoy hanging out with another dog, but would be okay as an only dog wth an attentive owner. Melody likes attention and at times will seek petting and being held. She is largely housebroken if kept on a routine, and sleeps well through the night on her dog bed. Melody is about 6 yrs old and weighs about 23 lbs. Arriving in late February. Sally came to us as a stray from southwest Virginia, but she must have had a home at some point. She's engaging with new people and enjoys attention and being petted.
