This handsome fella will be waiting to still your heart, just stop by to meet him! Charlie is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Charlie or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. Story
Brandy is a very special, incredibly sweet beagle mix from the south. She was found chained outside after her owner passed away. She had a deep laceration on her neck which has completely healed with no complications. Brandy is about 3 yrs old and 38 lbs. She is gentle, affectionate, very well-behaved, and enjoys the company of children. She is house and crate-trained, walks well on leash, and doesn't seem to mind cats. And, for the most part, she is quiet. Brandy does have a tendency to bark when she senses something to fear - a person coming to the house or an unfriendly dog approaching her on leash. But, she is easily redirected with a call of her name and a high valued treat. She just needs a little time to trust her surroundings. And, when she does, she is just the best and will ask you to rub her very soft belly! Brandy loves to spend time outside and would be best suited to suburban or rural living. Her forever home should have a secure fenced in yard. She loves walks and hikes. Brandy also loves to play with dogs, however she can be a little dominant when she is first getting acquainted. But, she quickly responds to direction. She would do best with a happy, confident dog in the home who can help to reassure her when she is hesitant. Brandy is a big fan of squeaky toys! She herself has some of the most amazing vocals - from beautiful howls and "I want to be with you" whimpers. Brandy is fostering south of Boston. Her foster family adores her and so does everyone she meets.

Mollie is a sweet, social little beagle who suddenly found herself without a home after her family’s circumstances changed. At about 3 years old and 28 lbs, she’s the perfect sized companion—playful, affectionate, and always ready to make a new friend. With her medium energy and sunny personality, Mollie is the kind of girl who’s just as happy exploring the yard as she is curling up beside you. She’s outgoing, gentle, and eager to start her next chapter with someone who’ll adore her as much as she adores them. Mollie is ready to travel north the moment a foster or adopter says “yes” to her.

Rambo is an owner surrender from the south. He may have been a failed hunting dog. This friendly boy is about 2 years old and 23 lbs. He can be a bit timid and skittish, but is good with dogs and kids of all ages. Rambo's ideal home would be quiet and have a fenced in yard. This sweet little guy is vocal, medium energy, and crate-trained. Rambo is epileptic and will need to be on medication for the rest of his life. Medication will not completely resolve the seizures. The goal is to reduce the frequency and severity of them. Rambo is expected to arrive in MA by mid-March.
