Meet Peaches! This beautiful beagle mix is on the search for her forever home! She is estimated to be about 1 years old and 22lbs. She is fully of that fun puppy energy and always looking to be in the mix of adventure. She loves everyone she meets and gets along well with other dogs. She has had much structure in her young life so she will need some work with potty training and walking on leash. She’s a typical beagle with having that loud howl! When she’s excited, you’ll know! Adopt this beautiful girl today! Apply on our website! www.aplaceforace.org

Story
Kevin is a very affectionate 2 and a half year old purebred Beagle with papers from the American Kennel Society who would do best with a family with a set routine and children with an active lifestyle. He is house and crate trained and loves to go for walks and playing with his toys. The crate would be provided as well as his Peddleton sweater and collar, several toys, crate, and bed. He loves peanut butter in his Kong and knows when it is time to play and when it is time to relax. We love him very much, but due to long work hours, we cannot provide him with the attention he needs and deserves. He loves people (especially kids!) and other dogs and his very social but also loves to snuggle on the couch and hang by himself after a long day at the dog park.

Story
Mr. Biscuits was a southern hunting dog whose owner passed away. He lived the first three years of his life in an outdoor kennel with little to no socialization. He has worked hard at socializing with people. He is still very timid and shy but has made huge strides since coming into the rescue and is improving every day. He is currently taking anxiety medication and is beginning to seek the company of humans. Once he fully relaxes into living in a home, he will make a wonderful addition to a family. Mr. Biscuits has arrived in New England and is available for visits.

Story
Bandit is a sweet, friendly girl that has gone through a very difficult time. She was found chained outside after her owner passed away. She had a deep laceration in her neck most likely due to her trying to get off the chain. She was placed on antibiotics and put in to a foster home while she healed. Bandit will always have a scar on her neck, but she is ready to find her forever home. Bandit is very timid and getting used to being around people again. But, she has shown that she warms up to be a very affectionate girl, especially with kids. To ease the process of her coming out of her shell, Bandit's new home should be in a quiet suburban or rural area and have a fenced in yard. She would probably enjoy the companionship of another dog, but could also be happy soaking up all the attention. She loves belly rubs! Bandit is a very well behaved girl! She is good with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats. She barks outside, but inside she is very quiet. She is house and crate-trained, and walks well on leash. This medium energy girl is about 3 yrs old and 38 lbs, and arriving in MA soon!

Story
Anna and Sylvia were surrendered by southern backyard breeders. Anna is estimated to be 10 years and Sylvia 7 years old. They are petite beagles at 20 lbs. These sweet, friendly, active and playful girls are settling in with our southern rescue partner and are already looking healthier. They will be spayed and have much needed dental cleanings and will be ready to travel north by the end of the month. Anna and Sylvia enjoy each other’s company. They have never been alone as all the dogs on the property were housed in a communal pen. They did not like being kenneled separately and were quite vocal about it. Once put together they have been quiet and much happier, so we are looking to adopt them together. At the very least, each will need to be placed with another dog in the home. However, preference will be given to applicants willing to adopt them together. Anna and Sylvia will arrive in Massachusetts January 31st.
