Story
Mr. Biscuits was a southern hunting dog whose owner passed away. He lived the first three years of his life in an outdoor kennel with little to no socialization. He has worked hard at socializing with people. He is still very timid and shy but has made huge strides since coming into the rescue and is improving every day. He is currently taking anxiety medication and is beginning to seek the company of humans. Once he fully relaxes into living in a home, he will make a wonderful addition to a family. Mr. Biscuits has arrived in New England and is available for visits.

Story
Bandit is a sweet, friendly girl that has gone through a very difficult time. She was found chained outside after her owner passed away. She had a deep laceration in her neck most likely due to her trying to get off the chain. She was placed on antibiotics and put in to a foster home while she healed. Bandit will always have a scar on her neck, but she is ready to find her forever home. Bandit is very timid and getting used to being around people again. But, she has shown that she warms up to be a very affectionate girl, especially with kids. To ease the process of her coming out of her shell, Bandit's new home should be in a quiet suburban or rural area and have a fenced in yard. She would probably enjoy the companionship of another dog, but could also be happy soaking up all the attention. She loves belly rubs! Bandit is a very well behaved girl! She is good with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats. She barks outside, but inside she is very quiet. She is house and crate-trained, and walks well on leash. This medium energy girl is about 3 yrs old and 38 lbs, and arriving in MA soon!

Story
Anna and Sylvia were surrendered by southern backyard breeders. Anna is estimated to be 10 years and Sylvia 7 years old. They are petite beagles at around 22 lbs. These sweet girls were thought to be bonded but now that they have arrived at their foster in Massachusetts they have become independent of each other. They really love their foster parents and all the attention they can get from humans, interact well with the other dogs there and even do well with the cats in the home. Sylvia is an adorable, happy little girl! She is a little cautious of movement but not scared. She likes to know what is going on, often getting up and following her foster parents around. She prefers not to be alone so we think she will do best with another dog in the home. A playmate would be great as she is enjoying the playful dog in her foster home, often running around with him. Someone who is also home a lot would be a bonus for her. Sylvia is friendly and content to sit on your lap but also has an active side. She just discovered toys and joyfully runs back and forth with different ones. Sylvia is being fostered south of Boston and is available for visits.

Tyson is a sweet and friendly beagle mix from the south. He is good with other dogs, but doesn't like overly active ones in his face or jumping on him. He may do better as an only dog or with an older, calmer one. Tyson is a very energetic and vocal boy. His ideal home would be with an active family and a fenced in yard. He does not like the crate. He is expected to arrive in MA by the end of February.
