Hello ! My name is Spades, this may be bragging a little, but I think I would be your perfect companion! Let me tell you a little about myself, and you can see for yourself! I even made a list of all my great qualities for you #1: I am very people friendly and I am always so excited meeting anyone new. I even let these silly people put a cowboy hat on me, I mean how many dogs would put up with that?! I would love to join you on all your adventures ! #2 I am a great companion to other dogs. I take my title of "police dog" very seriously, and will give corrections to a new dog if they are being too pushy with play. We all just have to get along right?! I love to play chase with my dog friends though. I am good with dogs of all sizes. I can be very playful but also chill when I have had enough. #3: I could probably live with a cat! Although I haven't lived with a cat, I met one at the rescue! I didn't really care to interact with the cat, but why would you when there are people around! #4 . I really am just about the perfect size and age. I am only a year old, but already potty trained ! Being around 20 lbs I can do hikes and walks without getting tired, but am a very manageable size. My girlish figure is in tip top shape if I do say so myself. I would do best in a home with a yard to run around and play in. Although have some leash manners to learn ( I just like to go pull to see all the people and dogs to go play with, who can blame me really?) I would even do great in a busy home with people coming in and out because I am so people friendly and absolutely loves people. Given my breed of beagle mix, I can be a little vocal, so no apartments for me. Sarah from the Hebrew origins means 'Princess'. What a dream come true, being YOUR princess!! I could totally get on board being treated like a princess, you know, like being spoiled rotten with lots of belly rubs and ear and under the chin scratches and whoa if you threw in some treats that'd just be the bomb...a life of a princess!! I am a total sweetheart of around 8 years, that was pulled from a local shelter where I was on 'the list'. I was shutting down being in a cold loud kennel but since being in my foster home, I've opened up and am starting to blossom. I do wonderfully with the other pups here, even occasionally trying to play. I'm also enjoying playing with stuffie toys. I even like that resident weird smelling thing y'all call a cat, I mostly just let her be (cuz ya know, she smells weird!). I also do great with the little kiddos, being oh so gentle with them. Most of the time I'm quite content to take a snooze while you're doing your thing. I am house broken and getting good at using the doggie door to come inside and am just starting to realize I can use it to go out too! I'm really getting to love this doggie door thing! I like going for our walks around the property but I'm more of a meanderer then a cruiser. I'm at that stage in my life where I like to stop and smell the flowers instead of bulldozing right over them! Coming in at around 43lbs I'm not too small that I get under your feet but I'm not too big that I take up the whole... everything. I would make a great companion type pup for someone retired or that works from home. I would even make a great first time dog parent pup. I will be good in the kennel but I definitely don't care to use one and I'm very good about not getting into things I shouldn't. I need to re-home copper. He's a sweet boy. 2 years old. High energy, loves to cuddle and play. I just want home to go to a good home. Someone that can devote time and give attention. He loves woman. It breaks my heart I have to re home him. I'm moving and my landlord won't accept pets. He's a good dog for protection.
