Story
This sweet little bundle of joy is approximately 9 weeks old and 5 lbs of pure personality. Ana may be tiny, but her spirit is BIG! She’s spunky, feisty, snuggly, playful, and incredibly smart. This clever girl is making great progress with potty training – she understands to go when she’s outside but hasn’t quite figured out how to ask to go out yet. Patience and encouragement will help her master this in no time. Ana is a total cuddle bug and a classic velcro dog – always wanting to be near her people. She sleeps well through the night and plays nicely with other dogs. She’s still learning how to walk on a leash but is giving it her all. And when she’s not getting her way? You might hear a little sassy bark! Ana will likely grow into a medium-sized dog with a big heart and even bigger personality. She would thrive in an active, loving home with patient humans who are excited to continue her training, play with her, and snuggle her close. If you’re looking for a fun, adaptable, and endlessly entertaining pup to join your family, Ana might just be your perfect match! Transport is an additional $185. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Dean has officially made it to Wisconsin with Mutt Life Dog Rescue and is settling in beautifully in his foster home. Now that he’s had time to decompress and show his true personality, this sweet boy is ready to find his forever family! Meet Dean Dean is a gentle, resilient pup who has already overcome a tough start in life. He was dumped at a kill shelter in Georgia with his brother, Sam, and is believed to be part of a backyard beagle-mix breeding situation. Despite this, Dean has proven to be affectionate, trusting, and eager to bond with his people. Dean arrived in Wisconsin on our January transport and is currently thriving in a foster home in Cedarburg, WI. He gets along wonderfully with his foster dog siblings and is great with kids. He loves attention from his humans and enjoys being part of the action. At around 6 months old, Dean is working hard on all the important puppy skills. He is almost fully potty trained and does a great job signaling when he needs to go outside. He is also learning crate training and leash walking and continues to make steady progress every day. Dean has not yet been cat tested. We expect him to stay small to medium sized, likely around 35-40 pounds when fully grown. If you’re looking for a loving, friendly pup who will grow into a loyal companion, Dean might be your perfect match Dean at a Glance Age: 6 months old Gender: Male Weight: 25lbs Breed: Beagle Mix (Best guess) Spayed/Neutered: Yes Potty Trained: almost fully potty trained Crate Trained: Yes Leash Manners: Good Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Not tested Good with Kids: Yes Dean is settling in nicely and would love to find a forever family of his own! Story
Wallace is a 7+ year-old male beagle with a heart as big as his soulful eyes. This sweet guy is fully potty trained and very much true to his beagle roots—which means he will sing you the song of his people when you leave, come home, or company arrives. Because of his signature beagle howl, Wallace would do best in a house rather than a condo or apartment. Due to his beagle nature, he also cannot live with cats - they are as tempting as rabbits and squirrels. He lived with an older family who moved to an environment that was not suitable for him. He was well socialized so he displays the typical love for all people of all sizes, including children who he is very tolerant of. He answers to the name Wrigley. He possesses great manners, and was never given people food so he doesn`t beg or drool during mealtimes (yes, we`ve checked - he IS a beagle.) However, I would not trust your dinner unsupervised on the coffee table - he is a beagle and there are limits. He knows sit, down, stay, place, and will wait at the door for permission before dashing out. He was also permitted to sleep with his humans and feels that he is entitled to this. We have been able to keep him sleeping in a dog bed after a few failed attempts to slip under the covers but those eyes ... they break my heart nightly; he would much prefer a home that welcomes a dog in the bed. Another small blessing is that he will not stalk you into the bathroom - IYKYK. He was an only-dog, and while he has gotten along with other dogs, he would prefer to be your only and not share your attention.Wallace is a true `beagle`s beagle,` which comes with all the lovable quirks the breed is known for. He is highly food motivated, and his definition of `food` includes anything once edible on the ground and most things (tissues included) in the trash can. He loves to take walks and be outside, sniffing everything, saying hi to everyone he meets (including dogs) and attempting to chase squirrels and rabbits. He walks well on a leash, but a strong hand is needed when temptation strikes. He also rides in the car very well.Wallace loves humans most of all and soaks up affection like a pro. He’s the kind of dog who’s happiest curled up watching movies, snoozing on his favorite ottoman under his foster dad’s desk, or perched on his lookout bench, quietly supervising the world outside. We believe he had family at home most of the time, so we are still evaluating how he deals with being left alone. Ou
