GRACE is a gentle soul with a heart of gold. She is wonderful with big dogs, small dogs, and everything in between. GRACE is intelligent, compassionate, and affectionate. She likes to be near her people and wants nothing more than to please them. Her eagerness to learn and the way she listens to her people, makes her a dream for any family. Some of GRACE’s favorite things to do are walking the yard in the morning, watching squirrels, playing with her foster sister and sunbathing. GRACE loves adventure and playtime, but at the same time, when it’s time to settle down, she is the first one ready to snuggle. When it’s time to go to sleep, you can find her fluffing her pillows and blankets in order to make the perfect bed. She rides nicely in the car, and enjoys both walks and outings, although she can be a little nervous in new situations. GRACE’s sweet nature endears her to everyone she meets. This girl is one of those rare gentle souls that some people are never lucky enough to meet in their lifetimes. The forever family who opens their hearts to this baby and is patient while she learns to trust them will be forever repaid in endless love.

GRACE is spayed, microchipped and up date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations.
Her $540 adoption fee covers her interstate health certificate and the cost of transport to the midwest.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Pet Express Transport (https://petexpresstupelo.wordpress.com) for our Nashville, Knoxville and New England adoptions. For our Midwest adopters, we have our own private transport.
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
