Whether he's curling up for some cozy lap time or soaking up attention from his people, Scout is happiest when he's close to you. He's also got a playful side- Scout loves his toys and has a blast running around the yard with his dog friends. He's curious and adventurous too, already testing out a kiddie pool and showing he's ready for whatever fun come next! Scout is crate trained, and doing great while learning his potty training skills. With a little continued guidance and love, he'll keep thriving in his new home. Story
Finn - beagle, medium, young Meet this handsome beagle boy, Finn! After spending much of his life at Ridglan Farms, he's slowly discovering just how wonderful the world can be. While he may be a little shy at first, he's been steadily coming out of his shell and gaining confidence every day. This sweet guy finds comfort in the company of other dogs and would love a canine friend to help show him the ropes. Loud noises can still be a bit scary for him, so he'd do best in a calm, patient home where he can continue to blossom at his own pace. With a little time, understanding, and plenty of love, this gentle Beagle will reward you with quiet companionship and the joy of watching him experience all the things a beloved family dog should. If you're looking for a kind-hearted pup who just needs someone to believe in him, he may be your perfect match. Please note, since Finn has spent most of his life at a breeding facility, a forever home with a fenced in yard would be best! Finn is being fostered in Delavan, WI and has an adoption fee of $600. To meet this sweet boy, please contact Sara at 224-600-2547 or complete an application at tinypawssmalldogrescue.org

Story
Meet Betsy. Betsy is a Beagle possibly Shepherd mixed cutie pie. She is 8 years young, enjoys the company of people and is totally potty trained. At 45 lbs. she is the perfect size for most homes and puppy shenanigans are a thing of the past. While she enjoys the outdoors and doing the typical Beagle sniff around, a home where she can relax with you inside and savor some family time would be a dream. Regular walks are also on her wish list. Betsy is crate trained but is not overly eager to travel in one. She is somewhat wary of strangers and does experience anxiety when she’s around other animals. Betsy is good with children of all ages. She is in good health and does well eating kibble for sensitive stomachs served in a puzzle bowl to keep her from gobbling up her food. Does Betsy sound like a good match for your family?

Story
Elliott is a gentle soul. He loves snacks, tug toys, and chin scratches. Elliott is working through some anxiety about being outside and in unfamiliar spaces. He needs a family that is equally gentle and willing to move at his pace. Elliott is intelligent, curious, and playful at heart, and enjoys partaking in puppy antics (especially with his foster brothers) in spaces where he feels comfortable. Elliott would do best with another calm and confident dog in the home to help him blossom. His family will need to continue potty, crate, and leash training using positive reinforcement. Elliott gets along with other dogs with appropriate introductions, and has not yet met kids or cats. Elliott is approximately 1.5 years old and 30lbs. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and on monthly preventatives. Please note: Our beagles are former lab dogs. Before you apply, make sure you do your research and understand what that will mean when bringing them home (we're going to ask!). These dogs will need time, patience, and positive reinforcement while they learn to exist in our world.

Story
Alfie is work in progress. He is by far the most shut down and anxious out of all his foster siblings. He is looking for a VERY special family that is willing to put in the time and patience to ensure he learns that the world isn't scary at his own pace. Alfie is about 1.5 years old and weighs about 25lb. His family will need to be prepared to continue work on potty, leash, and crate training using positive reinforcement. Alfie gets along with other dogs with proper introductions, and hasn't yet met kids or cats. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and on monthly preventatives. Alfie's family must have a fully fenced, secure yard as he is a flight risk. They must also have at least one confident dog that can continue to show him the ropes. Kids must be over 12 and respectful. Loud noises and sudden movements spook him. Finally, his family must be experienced dog owners. Alfie is making huge strides every day, and he's looking for a family that will take those same strides with him, at his pace. Please note: Our beagles are former lab dogs. Before you apply, make sure you do your research and understand what that will mean when bringing them home (we're going to ask!). These dogs will need time, patience, and positive reinforcement while they learn to exist in our world.
