Story
Blue came to me in April 2025 after he was left in a backyard in the valley. Hes been a great dog so far but, he is deaf, his disability does not hinder him in anyway other than needing creative ways to get and keep his attention. He is extremely active and playful, and unfortunately, I live in a small apartment and work two jobs, so I cant give him the time he really needs and deserves (he currently goes on a 5-8 mile run with me daily plus potty breaks throughout the day). He is an amazing boy with so much love, heart and energy to give to someone, however, due to his previous owners/situation, he was very clearly not socialized with other dogs properly, or, had basic obedience training and can get reactive on a leash in open areas. Will do best with an active person or place with a yard. UTD on everything, does not bark, loves cats, crate trained and quiet in the car potty trained. Needs a new home ASAP.

These pups are in Burbank, California too!

Story
Two-year-old Bella is looking for her furever home. Her perfect size and energy make her ideal for walks. She is a social, playful pup who loves to entertain herself with her toys, especially her Kong. Bella loves people, is well-behaved inside and is housetrained. Although Bella may take a little time to warm up, once she does, she will be the perfect furry companion. Bella would do best in a home with older children only, and without other dogs. Want to meet her? Fill out an application form today! Bella is currently located in Oakley, UT, but is available for adoption in both Utah and California. Story
From Snoopy`s Foster Mom: Snoopy is a gorgeous young fella, with a ton of love to give! He is what we describe as `naturally caffeinated` at the young age of 6-7 months old- he loves to romp and play with his foster sibs and enjoys a good zoomie session in the morning & evening. He`s eager to make friends but a little shy, so going slow and letting him take his time to warm up is the best way to win him as one of your best friends. He is a little leash reactive to other dogs, but off leash made friends really fast with the other dogs in his foster home- especially the smallest one who is now his bestie. He`s not overly food motivated, and won`t take treats at all if he`s anxious or overstimulated. He eats meals well and has responded to treats for training once he got comfortable. He LOVES toys and has made it a mission to take everything out of the toy box at least once a day, and rotate through chewing on them all. He`s started to play fetch, bringing toys over he wants you to throw for him, tennis balls are a favorite. He loves to be with people too- following us around the house, making sure he always knows where we are. He taught himself how to use the dog door on day 6, and has adapted pretty well to being in the crate at night or when we leave the house- although he will fuss a bit for the first few minutes. Snoopy would love a family that either has other dogs (not a good fit for a cat home) or can set up some playdates with dog friends semi-regularly. He would love humans who like to walk and hike and are eager to bring him along as much as possible. He wants to share in your life as much as he can, including sitting on the couch with you at night and following you into the bathroom at a mostly respectful distance. He will need training and patience as he is still growing, learning and testing boundaries at his age. We`re working on leash manners, but he`s already got a solid Sit command- very smart boy! Snoopy mainly just wants to be loved and have fun with his humans and enjoy every day to its fullest in a safe and dedicated home and family. Snoopy is in a foster home and not housed at the shleter. Please contact our foster coordinator at vbasfosterinfo@gmail.com to arrange a meet and greet.
