Story
Meet Zeke! He's a happy 10 month old Border Collie! He loves to play and is friendly meeting new dogs. Like all Border Collies, he loves to run and play fetch, and needs an active household. He would do best in a home with another dog to play with. Zeke is incredibly smart and has a sweet personality. He loves to cuddle and is very affectionate. Currently, he weighs about 20 lbs. We will have him fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. Border Collies are great dogs. They are highly intelligent and active and need both mental and physical stimulation. They enjoy training and should go to a home that can spend time with them. They're good with older children, but small children or seniors that can be easily knocked down isn't ideal for them. They would do best in a home with a yard.  #adoptdontshop #adoptdontbreedorbuy #rescuedogs #rescuedogsofinstagram #adoptadog #fosteringsaveslives #fosteradog #bordercollies #bordercolliesofinstagram #redondobeach #palosverdes #santamonica #studiocity #manhattanbeach #bordercolliedog #fosterdogs

Story
Durwood is a gentle, curious, and incredibly loving pup who’s ready to find his forever home. He has a calm, sweet nature with bursts of playful puppy energy that will make you smile every day. He’s about 95% house trained and continues to improve. Durwood gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is very curious (and respectful!) around cats. He genuinely wants to be friends with everyone he meets—people, pets, and especially kids. Durwood does have an abnormal front leg and doesn’t put much weight on it yet, but it doesn’t slow him down. He loves to run, play, and explore, and we’ve already seen him getting stronger. With continued support and love, we believe his stamina will keep growing. Because he doesn’t always realize his size, he can be a little bouncy when excited, but his heart is all in the right place—he just wants to love and be loved. Snuggles are his favorite thing, and he’s happiest when he’s close to his people. Durwood is truly a special dog—gentle, goofy, affectionate, and full of heart. Everyone who meets him falls in love. Now all he needs is a family to call his own.

Story
Meet Rown🖤 Rown was found on the street. He had swallowed stones and screws due to hunger, requiring emergency surgery. He also had an injury on his leg from his difficult life on the streets, but after surgery, he’s now in recovery. * With People: Loves people so much! Despite having a hard time in the past with accidents and struggles, he is endlessly affectionate and loves being around people. * With Dogs: Is full of energy and enjoys playing with other dogs. Is very playful and always approaches first to initiate play. * With Cats: Is curious and always watches them when they pass by. * Separation Anxiety: Currently resides with other dogs at the Center, so it’s hard to determine. Shows mild signs of separation anxiety when alone. * Potty Training: Is well-trained to go potty both indoors and outdoors. * Hygiene: Is still getting used to baths. Resists at first but cooperates well once he’s in the bath. Is also good with drying, brushing, and nail trimming. * Walks: Loves walks so much that he sometimes pulls on the leash when he gets excited. But it’s not severe and can be managed easily. * Car Sickness: Rides well without any signs of motion sickness. 💌Special Notes💌 * Has mastered several commands such as “sit” and “paw” about 80% of the time. * His right foreleg is chafed whenever he walks. A shoe is a must when he goes out for a walk. ❗Health Condition ❗ * Neutered. * Microchipped, and ankle surgery completed. * His right foreleg has been unfolded and stiffened after the ankle surgery. Has no issue in a daily life.
