Story
Titus is a sweet 9-year-old male who loves to stay close by our feet. He has grown up around other dogs and kids. He's curious but can be a little timid at times, and he's afraid of leaf blowers and fireworks. He does great on walks, loves to exercise, and has joined us on cross-country road trips. He also enjoys playing and splashing in very shallow water. He truly is the perfect companion for someone with a moderately active lifestyle. I never wanted to part with him, but after being diagnosed with a disease that requires expensive treatment and frequent travel, I have no choice. Titus is healthy, up to date on all vaccinations, and had his most recent vet exam in December 2025. He takes Prozac (I'll provide a 3-month supply) and Simparica Trio. He's the best boy, and my greatest hope is to find him a loving home where he'll be just as cherished as he has been with us.

Story
Meet Gordoloba Left Behind When Her Family Moved Away—Now She's Hoping Someone Will Never Leave Her Again ❤️ Breed: Border Collie Mix Gender: Female | DOB: Approximately 2018 (8 years old) | Weight/Size: 51 pounds    Medium-Large) Good With: Dogs ✔️ | Cats: Unknown | Kids ✔️ Medical: ✔️ Spayed | ✔️ Vaccinations Up to Date | ✔️ Microchipped Location: Los Angeles, California Transportation: Ozzie and Friends Rescue provides safe transportation to approved adopters throughout the United States. https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions ❤️ Personality, Breed Information & Gordoloba's Story Gordoloba knows what it feels like to have a home—and what it feels like to lose one. She belonged to a family she trusted. But when they moved away, they left her behind to fend for herself. Overnight, the only life she had ever known disappeared. Confused and heartbroken, Gordoloba stayed near her old home, faithfully waiting for the people she loved to return. They never came back. Gordoloba is an incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate companion. She has a calm, loving personality and simply enjoys being close to her people. Whether she's joining you for a leisurely walk, relaxing beside you while you read a book, or happily lying at your feet after a long day, Gordoloba is happiest when she's with the people she loves. She is not aggressive and has a wonderfully gentle temperament that makes her an excellent companion for families, couples, or anyone looking for a loyal best friend. As a Border Collie Mix, Gordoloba combines the intelligence and devotion Border Collies are known for with the balanced temperament often found in mixed breeds. At eight years old, she has outgrown the high-energy puppy stage but still enjoys daily walks, exploring new places, and spending quality time with her family. She would thrive with someone who wants a loving companion to share life's simple moments. Gordoloba would thrive in a home that offers: Daily walks and light to moderate exercise Plenty of affection and companionship Positive reinforcement and gentle guidance A comfortable bed and a peaceful home A consistent daily routine Patience while she adjusts to her new family A lifetime of love, security, and commitment After everything she's been through, Gordoloba isn't looking for anything extravagant. She simply wants a family who will love her forever and keep the promise that she'll never be left behind again. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Although Gordoloba is a mature adult, every rescue dog needs time to adjust to a new home. New surroundings, unfamiliar routines, and different experiences can feel overwhelming at first, even for gentle dogs like Gordoloba. Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 Days to decompress and begin feeling safe 3 Weeks to learn your household routine 3 Months to fully settle into family life Gordoloba's sweet personality will continue to blossom as she realizes she is finally safe and loved. With patience and consistency, she will become an incredibly loyal companion who simply wants to be by your side. Her new family should continue providing: Gentle, positive reinforcement training Daily walks and regular exercise A predictable daily routine Mental enrichment through toys and interaction Continued socialization Plenty of love, patience, and reassurance Senior and adult rescue dogs often adjust beautifully because they are simply grateful to have a family of their own. Gordoloba is ready to repay that kindness with years of unconditional love. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Adopting Gordoloba is a lifelong commitment, and she deserves a family dedicated to providing excellent veterinary care, companionship, and a safe, loving home. As part of responsible pet ownership, Gordoloba will need: Annual veterinary wellness examinations Routine vaccinations as recommended by your veterinarian Monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention A balanced, nutritious diet to maintain a healthy weight Daily exercise appropriate for her age and activity level Continued mental enrichment and companionship A safe indoor home where she is treated as a cherished member of the family We recommend scheduling a wellness examination with your veterinarian shortly after adoption to establish care and help ensure Gordoloba continues to thrive for years to come. Adoption Information If you are interested in adopting Gordoloba, please complete an adoption application by visiting: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions Thank you for considering adoption through Ozzie and Friends Rescue, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to giving homeless dogs a second chance at a loving home. Our greatest wish is that the next car she rides in takes her to a home where she'll be loved, treasured, and never left behind again. ❤️July 31, 2026, 12:03 pm

Story
Sara Jessica Parker COH didn't arrive looking for attention-she arrived looking for understanding. At 2 years old, this Border Collie Mix is a thoughtful, observant girl who likes to take her time getting comfortable with new people. She's not the rush in and greet everyone type-instead, she prefers to watch, learn the rhythm of a home, and decide on her own terms when she's ready to trust. Once she does, her quiet loyalty starts to shine in a steady, meaningful way. With other dogs, she feels much more at ease and tends to lean into their confidence, making canine companions a great support system for her as she settles in. She would do best with adopters who understand that the best bonds aren't always instant-they're built patiently, one small moment at a time. Surrendered by her owner, Sara Jessica Parker is now looking for a home that won't rush her story, but will let it unfold naturally. In the right environment, she has all the potential to become a deeply connected and devoted companion-just at her own pace. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. Story
Meet Doodle! Doodle is a 7-year-old mini-Australian shepherd. He is a super smart, funny and loving dog but he is not for the first-time dog owner. True to his breed, he has a very high herding instinct and is protective of his home. He is also very obedient, knows all his commands, is potty-trained, crate trained, and absolutely can't get enough attention from his person. He requires a lot of exercise (just a walk isn't enough), so he'll need an active owner who will run with him, hike with him, and take him on adventures. Doodle would do great in agility or herding activities. He can be reactive with larger dogs so we are looking for a home without a resident dog over 20 lbs. but he does get along well with small dogs and cats (although he does like to herd them when he gets excited). In his foster home, Doodle lives with four other dogs and two cats. He does really well with the established boundaries in his foster home and flourishes when he knows the rules and what's expected of him. In addition to regular exercise, his foster mom gives him puzzles, interactive toys and lick mats that help to keep him mentally stimulated. He is a great guard dog and very protective so he can be reactive to visitors in his home. Doodle is also selective with who he likes and tends to favor women over men so introductions to new people must be done slowly and with care. Doodle is a medium size dog, weighing in at 35 lbs., is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccines. He is an amazing guy and we know his perfect home is out there. Doodle is looking for a quite home with no children where he would prefer to be the only dog. He needs an owner who has owned a herding breed before and is up for the challenge of owning a high energy, intelligent dog. Is it you?
