Meet Spruce!  His mom is a pure Border Collie and as sweet as they come.  Mom does not act like a typical high energy Border Collie who always needs a job to do.  She would rather cuddle with you and although loves her walks, she is on the calm side.  If babies are anything like her they are going to be exceptional!  Mom was rescued from the city shelter 5 days before delivering 11 babies!!  Mom is only 37 pounds so males should be around 50 pounds.    They were born on December 5th, and will be ready to go home mid February.  Our adoption fee is $600 which covers their first two vaccines, deworming, and spay/neuter .  If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application form at  https://form.jotform.com/oscarlucy/dog-adoption-app January 22, 2026, 6:08 pm

I adopted her from the Agoura Hills Animal Shelter, where they estimated she is a 10-week-old Border Collie mix. She’s incredibly smart, playful, and full of personality. True to her breed, she thrives with an active lifestyle and loves both mental and physical stimulation. She’s already learning so quickly—she’s making great progress with potty training, walks nicely on her leash, plays fetch, and knows how to sit. She’s currently teething but is easily redirected to her toys and has not shown any behavioral issues. She’s surprisingly independent for a puppy and absolutely loves her crate. She sleeps through the night from about 10 PM to 7 AM, which has been amazing. She’s affectionate, curious, and loves to play, but also enjoys her calm time. I’ve already taken her for her first vet checkup, and I’ve purchased many supplies for her that will be included with her adoption (crate, toys, etc.). I’m looking for a loving, understanding home that can give her the time and love.

I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out to share the story of a special dog named Loki, who is in search of a loving forever home. Loki came into our lives (November 2025) after our daughter adopted him from the Simi Valley Animal Shelter in February 2025. As a delightful and energetic herding dog, Loki thrives on having ample space to run and play, something our daughter couldn’t fully provide. Loki is 7 years old and fully house trained. He loves going to the Laughing Dog Inn for playdates. We are unable to provide the space or energy Loki needs. Loki is loyal, protective, funny, and energetic. We are committed to only loving homes with space to run.
