We rescued Rocco from the West Valley Animal Shelter. He was terrified at the shelter and would have been put down. He has made a lot of progress since we pulled him that we are looking for his perfect home now. Preferably a backyard and no children. He warms up quickly but needs to be with experienced people. We rescued this sweet 1-1/2 year old (as of Sept 2026) girl and she is looking for her forever home. Sweet, gentle and loving, she came to us with some skin problems after being found as a stray. We gave her all the medical help and attention she needed and she now, good as new. She is people and dog friendly and even tested well with cats!But most important, she would love a chance for a real home and family. Story
Peanut is a 10-month-old, 45-pound rough-coated border collie who we recently rescued, and we’re still getting to know all the things about him. One thing we know for sure is that this little guy loves, loves, loves having canine companions around. He’s also so sweet with everyone he meets, always smiling, and just a happy, friendly little guy. Peanut is learning the ropes as he goes, and so far he’s been doing really well. He seems to be potty trained and is working on getting into a consistent routine. He’s also working on his crate training and leash manners. The crate isn’t his favorite place just yet, but he’s getting there! As a young border collie, Peanut would love an active family who understands herding breeds and is ready to continue helping him learn and grow. He would especially love having a friendly canine companion around, because he really does love being with other dogs. If you’re looking to adopt a young, very sweet, floofy boy, Peanut may be your guy. He is currently being fostered in San Diego.

At 55 pounds, Hazel has the perfect balance of adventure buddy and couch companion. She's smart, loyal, friendly, and has the kind of easygoing personality that makes everyone who meets her fall in love. Hazel is the type of dog who fits effortlessly into family life. She's house-trained, spayed, up to date on her vaccines, and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, and likely kids and cats. She's confident without being pushy, affectionate without being clingy, and simply enjoys being wherever her people are. Whether you're heading out for a morning hike, exploring a new trail, or relaxing at home after a long day, Hazel is happiest by your side. She has excellent recall, isn't reactive, doesn't struggle with separation anxiety, and takes life's little surprises in stride. She's truly the kind of dog you can bring just about anywhere. Her foster describes her as having no red flags—which is about the highest compliment a rescue dog can receive! Hazel was recently diagnosed with early-stage pannus, an immune-mediated condition that affects the corneas and can lead to vision loss. She's doing great on daily Optimmune eye medication, which she'll likely continue long-term. It's a simple part of her routine that helps keep her eyes healthy, and it certainly doesn't slow her down from enjoying hikes, adventures, or soaking up every moment with her family. Hazel has all the qualities people hope to find in a dog—kind, steady, intelligent, and endlessly loyal. She's ready to be someone's best friend, hiking partner, road trip copilot, and favorite cuddle buddy for years to come. Meet Dalgom – A Sweet & Social 3-Month-Old Puppy!   Name: Dalgom Age: 3 months Sex: Male Neutered: No – too young Breed: Jindo / Border Collie Mix Color: Black & White Weight: 6.4 kg (14 lbs) Height: 35 cm (13.8 in) at the shoulder   Rescue Story Dalgom was found all alone in a cage near a rural reservoir, left outside under the scorching sun. Thankfully, someone spotted him and reached out for help, allowing this little puppy to be rescued and given a chance at a safe and happy life.   ‍‍ Personality & People Dalgom is an incredibly friendly and affectionate puppy who loves people! He happily approaches both familiar faces and complete strangers, rubbing against them for attention and allowing himself to be petted right away.   He is comfortable with both men and women and can easily be picked up and held. He’s so trusting that he’ll even show his belly to someone he has just met.   With Other Dogs Dalgom is just as social with dogs as he is with people. He readily approaches unfamiliar dogs to say hello and invite them to play, and he gets along well with dogs both bigger and smaller than himself.   He enjoys playing with energetic dogs and generally avoids conflict if another dog tries to provoke him. He’s a happy, playful little guy who loves having canine friends.   With Cats Dalgom has not yet been observed around cats, but a cat test can be arranged upon request.   Energy Level Dalgom has a moderate puppy energy level. He enjoys being active and playing, but once he’s had his fun, he settles down nicely and rests. Like most puppies his age, he also sleeps quite a bit.   Walks Dalgom has not started regular walks yet, as he is still completing his puppy vaccinations and has currently received his second round.   Food & Other Behaviours Dalgom does not generally guard food from people or other dogs. He can usually eat peacefully around other dogs, although occasional puppy disagreements over food bowls can happen. He does not initiate conflict, but may respond if another dog challenges him.   He currently whines quite a bit when placed in a crate, so he is being introduced to crate training gradually and positively.   House Training Dalgom currently uses indoor pee pads and is also able to eliminate outdoors. As he is only 3 months old, his house-training skills are still developing.   Ideal Home Dalgom is a young puppy with a wonderfully social, affectionate nature and lots of growing and learning ahead of him. He would do best with a family ready to continue his puppy training, socialization, leash training, and crate training with patience and consistency.   If you’re looking for a sweet, friendly little companion who loves both people and dogs, Dalgom may be the perfect addition to your family.
