Story
Beth has just arrived but here is what we know so far: She is approximately 3 months old, breed is unknown although her foster says she may have some beagle in there  She is very sweet, a little shy, and she smiles She has done great with other dogs We haven't had her around little kids, but have no worries from what we've seen so far! Apply at k911foundation.com/adopt to set up a meet and greet with this little sugar baby. Beth has been spayed, has received age appropriate vaccines, is microchipped, and receiving monthly flea/tick & heartworm prevention. Our puppy adoption fee is $250 to help cover the vetting costs of the animals in our care.March 20, 2026, 12:55 pm

Story
Location -Wayside’s Canine Behavior Center – I`d love to show off all the cool things I’ve learned at Wayside! Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days to meet me! My Friends at Wayside say: - I am enrolled in Confidence College. This is a program for dogs to build confidence and learn that the world is not so scary. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. - I already know some basic commands!- I’m a little shy—slow and steady wins the race with me.- My previous owner said that I am crate-trained.- I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. Please visit our website for additional information. My home needs are: - I need a home without other dogs - I prefer having your attention all to myself!- No apartments or shared living spaces for me, please! Other dogs, people, and noisy environments make me nervous!- I need a home with kids 6 years old and older since I tend to be nervous around new people and loud noises. - For my safety, I need to go home on an anti-slip collar called a martingale collar. For your convenience, we sell them in our retail store, Whiskers and Wags.Hi, I’m Pretty Girl! And yes… I live up to the name, but what really makes me special isn’t just how I look… it’s how much I love. I’m a 2-year-old border collie mix with a gentle heart and a simple goal in life: to be close to my people as much as possible.I’ll be honest with you, I’m still figuring some things out (and who isn’t!?). I don’t have a long list of tricks or big life experiences just yet, and new things can feel a little overwhelming at times. But I’m trying my best every single day! I’m currently enrolled in Confidence College here at Wayside, where I’m learning how to be brave, build trust, and grow into the best version of myself. With a little patience and encouragement, I know I’ll keep blossoming. What I do know is how to love, and I do that really, really well – If I do say so myself! I absolutely adore being near my people. Whether we’re sitting together, taking a slow stroll, or you’re giving me belly rubs (my favorite!), I’m happiest just being by your side. I don’t need a busy lifestyle…your presence is what means the most to me.I’m looking for a home where I can be your one and only pup, and I’d do best in a house rather than an apartment so I can feel comfortable and settled. Most importantly, I need

Story
Hi friends! My name is Willy. I'm a border collie mix of sorts and quite handsome if I do say so myself. I'm a bit of a special dog, a real shy guy, but if someone would just give me a chance I will make a great companion. I love other dogs, as long as they're friendly, and I absolutely must go to a home with another friendly dog or two to show me I'm in a safe place. We all need some reassurance sometimes, right? I also need a fenced yard. Whoever my new owner is will need to be able to give me lots of time and space to feel comfortable with them. I'm a really good boy, I'm crate trained and house broken, but until I get used to you I'm gonna need you to keep your paws to yourself. I promise it's not personal, and you'll see I'm worth the wait! Willy is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. He's located at The Pet Connection Sanctuary in Beloit, KS, but transportation to the right home may be available. To learn more about Willy please contact The Pet Connection by call or text- 913-671-PETS (7387).
