Jake is a 5 year-old ACD/blue healer. We are told he’s all blue healer. He’s appx 50 lbs, healthy, no special diet. We took Jake into our home 1 year ago. Jake lived with his owner at a local lake (his job was keeping geese away) where we spent weekends. His owner died, we took iJake. His adjustment seemed good, until March. We saw he was becoming sad and unsettled. We’ve been working with our vet, behavioral specialist, and he had a physical therapist for a consult. ALL is 100% fine. We all think my house is just overwhelming for him: we have 3 cats, 2 dogs, and sometimes even the 3rd dog. JAKE IS NOT THE PROBLEM, WE ARE. Jake needs a calm environment! Jake is perfect. NEVER pottied inside, destroyed anything. Great on leash, never ran off. He is sweet and loving. Other dogs can be overwhelming, so if there is another as long as it’s calm. He is great around cats. He wants to go for walks, rides, play ball/soft disk, hurd balls. He’s smart, and the best companion.

Let Cami be the queen of your castle! She is such a sweet, shy girl who wants desperately to be loved and we have no doubt that she will steal your heart. She enjoys peaceful activities with her people. (Check out her fishing adventure in Minnesota last winter!) It's going to take Cami a bit to trust and she'd appreciate a home where there aren't a bunch of visitors coming and going. While she can be picky about her canine friends, a super social dog might just do the trick. Of course, Cami would be perfectly satisfied being your one and only, too. Either way, she promises to love you to the moon and back! Cami's around eight years old and is a very polite house guest. Hi, my name's Jeff. I'm a goofy little cattle dog/bully mix pup, around 4-5 months old, and a compact medium size. The folks here at City of Raytown Animal Services keep saying I'm a cool little dude, and they get that happy voice, so I tend to agree. I adore other dogs and all the people I've met; the cats here have shown me that they're the ones in charge, and I'm cool with that. Napping is one of my favorite activities, so I would love a home where I could snuggle with you on rainy days and sleep next to my people at night. I also like to go on adventures to the park, or anywhere I'm allowed to go (dog-friendly restaurant patios, if I may be so bold?). Playing with my toys in the yard will also be a very fun game for us! I kennel like a champ, and I potty outside like a big boy, so I'll be easy to housetrain.
