We love him but, he needs room to run and work to do. He is 2 years old. He is smart, handsome and sweet and is a purebred border collie (unfortunately we don't have papers though). He is not neutered. House trained, good with other dogs and children. $75 rehoming fee. We are looking for a home for him with acreage, farmland etc. so he can live the life he was intended to live.

Howdy! I'm Carl. I'm border collie mix somewhere around 3 to 4 years old and I'm looking for a forever home! I'm currently being fostered by a dog trainer which means everyone gets to learn so much about me and I get to learn more before I move on to my forever! I currently know some basic obedience ( but I would say I'm a master in sit and shake), I'm crate and potty trained and currently learning how to walk well on a leash. It still needs some work but I'm a very smart boy and learn quick! I do good with other dogs and cats but do have some issues with resource guarding when it comes to dogs I don't know very well. I get better once I know the dog better. I will need a home without kids since sometimes I think they're something I need to herd and sometimes they just make me anxious! My foster says I'm a medium-high energy boy so I’ll need someone that can keep up and give me the outlets I need to stay a good boy.

River is an 8mo. Border Heeler (Border Collie & Blue Heeler). We offered to foster/adopt him from a friend who couldn't keep him due to moving. It was contingent on integration w our current lifestyle & pets (2 cats & 1 sr dog). We're just not able to give him the time/training needed for him to really thrive based on his breed/puppy energy - someone will tho! River is house trained, sits/down well, doesn't beg for scraps, no leash aggression towards other dogs. He's playful w mega energy and does great with lil kids and at dog daycare/parks. He is updated on all shots. He does have separation anxiety, and some resource guarding towards our other dog, strong prey drive (okay w 1 cat, not w other) , he is good crated when we leave home/bed time. W training he will make a fantastic and loyal dog. He would be best in a home by himself w kids (maybe another puppy w same energy), an exp. dog owner, someone athletic (ok w/ extra time needed for training), or on a farm as a working dog.

My great dog is called Zoey. She is the sweetest little girl ever. She just turned a year in March. I got her when she was 2 months old from a family friend because she has too many dogs. Unfortunately I am not able to keep her for much longer because my landlord has changed his policy and due to rent inflation I am not able to keep her. I love her to pieces and she is part my soul and it hurts not to be able to keep her anymore. She will fill your home with so much love and very many kisses and cuddles. This dog is a courtesy listing for one of our rescue partners Allen county animal rescue facility. They are a rural animal control shelter near Iola KS. Many dogs are brought to their facility after being found as strays, dumped, surrendered, or brought in by the city. However, because they are in such a rural town, they have a very small pool of adopters and have a hard time finding homes for the dogs in the shelter. Our promise as their rescue partner is that should someone apply through us, we will handle any transportation needed to get the dog to their forever home, we will assist with home visits, dog intros and anything needed to help get these dogs out of the shelter and into loving homes.
