Hi friends! My name is Willy. I'm a border collie mix of sorts and quite handsome if I do say so myself. I'm a bit of a special dog, a real shy guy, but if someone would just give me a chance I will make a great companion. I love other dogs, as long as they're friendly, and I absolutely must go to a home with another friendly dog or two to show me I'm in a safe place. We all need some reassurance sometimes, right? I also need a fenced yard. Whoever my new owner is will need to be able to give me lots of time and space to feel comfortable with them. I'm a really good boy, I'm crate trained and house broken, but until I get used to you I'm gonna need you to keep your paws to yourself. I promise it's not personal, and you'll see I'm worth the wait! Willy is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. He's located at The Pet Connection Sanctuary in Beloit, KS, but transportation to the right home may be available. We don't understand why as he is the sweetest boy ever! Jovie loves people and gets along with most other dogs, he does have a vocal play style which can be too much for some! Jovie would love to find an active and loving family to call his very own!   Approximate Birthdate:  Nov 2021 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. Story
We adopted Maddie from the shelter when she was just a puppy. She is now 14 years old and we are no longer able to care for her in the way that she needs. Our home does not accommodate for her joints anymore, as we have steep steps that lead outside that are preventing her from using the restroom. She is a sweet, loving lady, and she will act like the princess she is. She doesn’t get along well with other animals especially during eating time. Because of Maddie‘s age, she doesn’t love to be around smaller children. Older children or adults are probably better for her new household. She has not been up-to-date on her shots after we moved from out of state, but we can provide her past shot records. She will be most comfortable in a home that is quiet, minimal stairs, and easy access to the outdoors for easy potty breaks. She does have the occasional accident inside, but we believe that that is due to not being able to go down the stairs easily.

Hiro, is an 8 year old male australian shepherd. I rescued him 3 years ago in the mountains of Utah. Tracked down his owner and decided to keep him. He loves to play fetch non stop. He thinks he is a lap dog when being petted. He is good with kids. They like to carry the ball or toy around and have Hiro follow them. We are only rehoming him because he has become to dominate over our Black Lab. He will make a good one dog family or if you able to train him with other dogs.
